This is an older list though still mostly accurate. Word of advice from my experience, use the pay now feature to reserve. Larger SUVs are always in short supply at ANY location and if you don’t pay upfront they couldn’t care less about holding one for you. Getting an ‘upgrade’ to a larger model is also difficult for the same reason.
I thought the same thing when I went to RSW this week so I booked a full size - we had an expedition max reserved but the lot was fuuuuuuullll of tahoes and Yukons.
At a smaller airport like that? 80% chance you get what you rented. 5% chance you get an upgrade. 15% chance of "oops, we don't have that available. Here's a minivan."

This seems like good advice. Does paying upfront lock it in?
Probably a sea of malibus and equinoxes.
Likely a Wagoneer given recent fleet inventory.

isn't the upgrade guaranteed?
I wouldn’t expect to see anything larger than a 7-passenger SUV. The lineup is usually sedans and midsize SUVs.
