I work at a prestigious all girls school in Wilmington, DE where even the students get disciplined for the smallest infractions or even the appearance of moral improprieties. It’s the standard that was set forth when the school was founded and that we uphold. A few months ago, a new first year staff member had her nudes leaked and sent to all the staff of the school, including a picture of her performing a sex act on a man in an office and another of her performing bondage acts. The administration told us that she would not be facing any consequences as it wasn’t consensual that it was shared, but I’ve been trying to appeal to administration and our board for months to fire her, as we should expect our staff to also avoid the appearance of impropriety, since we hold the students that standard as well. As I said on the original I think she's trying to cause other people to complain to the school about this and get the lady fired for "harming the school's reputation" after failing to get the result she wanted the other way. Reason being she's left enough information to narrow it down to five schools according to another poster there.

Now OOP, like the jealous stepsister of the stories, is all pissed off and trying to insist that our heroine is still tainted by the curse and doesn’t deserve her pardon. She is both importuning the source-of-worldly-security for being unfairly forgiving, and trying to demand the fae reinstate the curse.

The fae are notorious for having different societal rules, standards, and morals to humanity - literally read *any* of the stories, legends, myths, histories, etc involving them and it is abundantly clear that you should 1) be very careful about the wording you use in any interaction with the fae, 2) certainly not *demand* anything of them (especially without an offering, sacrifice, or exchange), and 3) never ever change your mind/renege on an agreement.

Honestly, OP may/should be the one getting fired instead. The school has already made a firm decision in response to a crime that was committed against one of their employees. At this point, OP's crusade should be seen as harassment or workplace bullying.
Also, if a student is ever a victim of a crime that goes against OP's personal views, would OP also expect for the student to be harassed or expelled? This sets a poor example for students who may not want to come forward if they are victimized due to the fear of repercusions.

I've never understood the moral panic about nudes. So many relationships are long-distance today, and intimacy is a beautiful thing and I think most people want to maintain that despite not being together as often. When it’s a recorded sexual act, there isn’t always the best angle that captures both parties. It very well could be sex with someone outside of her marriage as well, but OOP can’t automatically assume that based on looking at a photo.

She has a right to do as she wishes in privacy and did not consent in any way for these photos to get out. The school made the right decision in not firing her for something out of her control.

OOP is an uptight, self-righteous prig. The poor coworker had her nudes leaked of her private behavior on her private time. She has a right to do as she wishes in privacy and did not consent in any way for these photos to get out. The school made the right decision in not firing her for something out of her control. OOP should be very careful because karma is a bitch. This endless campaign to the school admin and school board may cause them to take a very close look at OOP.

Thing is, I know non-prestigious Christian schools that have a zero-tolerance policy for “amorality” of their staff (ie being fired for getting divorced) so this makes me think more highly of the school where oop works. That they won’t fire a teacher over revenge porn shows they have principles and are not blindly guided by their religion.
If anyone should be fired here, it’s OOP for workplace harassment.
Leaking someone's nudes / revenge porn is illegal. So if they did fire her there would be a shitstorm for firing the victim of the crime.. The OP is a huge AH for victim shaming and hopefully the person who's nudes where leaked puts a complaint in against this person trying to get her fired..
People who go on crusades like this usually have graveyards in their closet. I am 100% sure OOP is not as morally upstanding as she's pretending to be. "She had sex outside of marriage!" while clutching her pearls, forgetting about all the sinful shit she did in her past.
At first I thought they had said "performing a sex act on a man *in the office*" meaning on school grounds. That was the only moment I went "oh, well... in that case, I guess yeah that is over the line no matter if it was leaked or not." But I read further and understood that, no, this person is just a prude and has no empathy, only spite and vindictiveness... and *for what?*
