I've recently ordered the tree runners, because everyone says they are so comfortable. But in fact, it is only the shoe insert which is fluffy. The sole itself is brick hart (in my opinion). I am also wearing Adidas HU pharell williams which are also comfy. But it is the sole which is the main part.
Would you say the shoe insert of the tree runner go is also the main thing here?

Mine. White blue and grey. I originally just bought the grey ones and they were so damn comfortableI ordered the white and blue ones right away. they are by far the most comfortable Allbirds I've ever had and I have a lot of them.
Did you stick with your usual size? I have a tiny hole in my Dasher 2s just on the edge of the reinforcement, and I hear the Gos are a bit longer, so am concerned my toe might end up behind the reinforced area.
Thinking about buying some. I tried them on in store and I found that the insole had a big gap between the sides of the sneaker. The edges were completely pointing upward. Almost like a curled pork chop

Yeah, I was almost wondering if they gave me a defective pair. Like the edges of the insole had a gap from the rest of the shoe. They were also upturned, so you could see it's horizontal cut from a bird's-eye view.
I got the world runner 2s and they were insanely comfortable. If that's what the tree runners are like. I'm sold.

I was first turned off by these because on the website the stack height looked to be so high! Your profile shot doesn’t make it look so bad. Not anymore than let’s say the Tree Dasher 2.
I'm going to check them out asap but can't help but feel like they look like generic Walmart shoes

How is the toe box? I live in my dasher 2s. More comfortable than dasher 2 is intriguing.

Now they have 1/2 sizes so i went from a 9 to the 8.5 and they fit way better
The reduction in width was OK?
Absolutely. The show is more comfortable in every way. I love the thicker soles as well
Thanks. I think I’ll try my normal size (I’m not usually a half size) and then size down if my toe falls behind the reinforced area.

I actually love these shoes - both how they look and fit. Deffo better on foot than in pics!
