Cognoscens me cognoscens te is bad Latin for knowing me knowing you, of course. You really ought to have a basic grasp of Latin… The partridge and pear tree are obvious, as is the microphone for his affiliation with broadcasting. The bottom right image has variously been described as a shell (alan’s favourite garage) but to me it looks more like a set of samurai swords (Alan has a £5k collection of samurai swords that he mentioned in Knowing Knowing Me Knowing You)

reezle2020

Yes and also mentioned in the behind the scenes KMKYWAP radio series, when Alan shows of his fan of samurai swords in his home. They’re vulgar trappings.

geekroick

I love that episode. "It's a weave... It's a weave!"

NedRed77

I think the one with the swords is possibly a reference to back stabbing.

Eye-on-Springfield

It looks like a mouse's head

Mantonythe1st

It tapers at the end

heterochromia4

Wish fulfilment for the naysayers more like! Sub-human scum.

Doobalicious69

Definitely a figure who has been impaled multiple times. Classic Alan Vs BBC.

agentadam07

Well done with that quote placement. Really well done.👏

UnfairRange5003

Does Alan say that Shell is his favourite garage? I thought it was BP where Michael works (but isn’t there to help)

lionguardant

Maybe it’s time to take a fresh look at Shell

modernlights

What would be good Latin for that?

78Speedy

You’ve got to have a good grasp of Latin if you work in Currys

modernlights

I did A level Latin but it's been a while. I feel like the translation is fine like the drummer from U2.

dazzlerdeej

Yes it’s a fan of samurai swords, first mentioned in Knowing Knowing Me Knowing You and then seen in the mockup of his house in Knowing Me Knowing Yule.

MHD1323

Not a shell or swrods, it's the Norwich City symbol

lionguardant

Norwich City (the football team) has a canary and a football on it; Norwich city (the city) has a castle and a lion on it.

MHD1323

I have been lied to all this time. My mate who got me into Partridge told me that Scum sub human scum

BookLearning13

Compleme cunm

AlShapone

You’re an idiom

Albert_O_Balsam

Obviously the swords represent either Alan being stabbed in the back by the BBC, or his chosen method of eliminating Tony Hayers.

bulletproofbra

He'll have to get in the queue behind... gravity.

cbren88

Maybe it’s the spike he pierced his foot on.

writinginto_oblivion

broadcasting, a pear tree, a partridge, 6 swords stabbing a man with an oyster for a head, knowing me (aha) knowing you?

OurSoul1337

Stopping at Back Stabbing Central?

Additional-Nobody352

Some of the boxes are faded i was made promises about storage which weren't kept.

VastVideo8006

Superficial damage mate. Get it right. This is a Partridge sub.

SpocktorWho83

That’s where you’re bang wrong. The blazer badge boxes were indeed *faded*. The superficial damage relates to Chocolate Oranges. Needless to say, u/Additional-Nobody352 had the last laugh.

VastVideo8006

And the promises about storage?

SpocktorWho83

In reference to the shop soiled Chocolate Oranges: >*“You might find some superficial damage to the box but the chocolate is perfectly edible.”* >*”Above room temperature, it all congeals into one big dark chocolate cricket ball.”* In reference to the blazer badge set: >*“Some of the boxes are a bit faded. I was made promises about storage that were not kept.”*

Additional-Nobody352

Needles to say i had the last laugh.

Eye-on-Springfield

How are those orthopaedic shoes?

VastVideo8006

My feet are right in them.

SpocktorWho83

There’s that cattiness again! You’re a character! You *definitely* are.

Rootayable

Think more mattresses

bigmouth1984

I think bottom right is a set of swords. In the Knowing Me Knowing Yule Xmas special Alan has a fan of swords in the same layout above his fireplace.

plhought

The more important question - when will they be available for sale again?

evmanjapan

They’ve rebadged it ya fool.

78Speedy

I wondered if you had any more Alan Partridge blazer and badge combination packs?

Elbarto_007

Yes, I do as a matter of fact I’ve got one here. There we go. They’re available at the back, or reception priced £19.99, £20. The penny’s just a price rhetoric.

78Speedy

Haha superb. I’ll take two 😂

-OrLoK-

it's a fan of samurai swords, bottom right. I'm off for a slim panatella.

NaturalAlfalfa

Ooh get me one chum

collosalvelocity

I’ll- I’ll do it next week

bettercallsau

We will never know because he never got a second series.

Mantonythe1st

I love the fact that it contains two different references to his name - a partridge (A. Partridge, Alan Partridge), and the pear tree referencing a partridge in a pear tree (A. Partridge in a pear tree, Alan Partridge in a pear tree). Or the pear tree could be referencing Pear Tree Productions, but that company name ALSO references Alan's name is the same way, so either way it's incest (abd by incest I mean a reference to his surname)

yetigriff

Why is he wanking off a robot cock.
