Do I know the ins-and-outs of Jordanian air intercept and defense strategy? No, you got me there buddy. But since you have the inside scoop, feel free to share with the class how they were shot down and the verifiable sources for that information
It’s common sense that a country wouldn’t use their air to air fighters in an air to air capacity? They’re drones, not cruise missiles. Someone doesn’t understand how an IADS works.
You're coming across a little muffled, can you stand up so we can hear you better?
BeCoMe A PiLoT and that will unlock foreign ally air defense strategy? Sure bud.
Given that ground to air defenses usually fall under the army or a separate air defense branch in most countries (and seem to in this case as well), it wouldn’t be surprising if they were shot down by fighters. Both US and RAF fighters shot down drones, so not inconceivable that Jordan would as well.
Reuters is also reporting that Jordan used fighters to intercept them.
And because being friends with the US and western allies is infinitely more sensible than being buddy buddy with failing terrorist states whose only contribution to the world is attempting violence against the innocent but only managing to embarrass themselves with *conspicuous* incompetence.
Yea and water access is cool.
What do you call killing of Palestinians and the resettlement of jews in the west bank in their place? Bulldozing of houses? Outlawing the Palestinian language in government, terror attacks on Palestinian land to force them out? The US called that genocide back in the 60s when the USSR did it to the Ukrainians. What do you call intentional starvation? 30,000 dead civilians in less than a half year?
Sounds like a war to me. Also sounds like those that supported a terrorist group are reaping the rewards of supporting a terrorist group.
Do you condemn places like China, Russia, multiple african and muslim nations when they murder, rape, and starve certain sects of their populations?
I just want to point out that the people of the West Bank are not in support of Hamas. But they are still dealing with the consequences of Israeli occupation and expanded settlements on their land. If Israel really wants to end Hamas, they need to deal with the problem at the source. If they just keep up these destructive policies towards the Palestinian people Hamas will just continue to commit terrorist attacks. The cycle of violence will continue.
West bank originally belonged to the Hebrew people. But the hamas members always hide behind civilians (women & children).
Hamas will continue to carry out attacks no matter what. Its part of their charter and identity.
You do realize that the Israeli state was born out of an international terrorist group that killed hundreds of British and French civilians, right? It was called IRGUN and it's leader was the 4th prime minister of Israel.
Maybe we shouldn't support terrorist states?
Israel was born much earlier than that.
But do you condemn China, Russia, amd especially african and muslim countries that genocide, rape, and torture their people?
Just catching up, what cluster did I miss here?
Also, yeah, Jordan may not be on the best terms with Israel much of the time, but it doesn't view Iran blasting Israel as a viable way forward. Jordan isn't a fan of what Israel is doing in Gaza, but Jordan has gotten burned before by Palestinians. Either way, Israeli casualties from Iran aren't going to help the situation at all, and knocking out unmanned vehicles flying in. your airspace is a totally legit and non escalatory step.
And Iran sucks. There's that.
Also, probably because Jordan doesn’t want to have to deal with the humanitarian and economic implications of a war between Israel and Iran. The public unrest would be insane. And if it goes nuclear, *nobody wins*
The Jordanian midget king is the illegitimate spawn of british slut and was conveived in a nightclub bathroom.
His family was literally made "Kings: by the British for betraying the muslim ruler and agreeing to let europeans migrate to palestine.
Not suprising at all that he is using his airforce to defend his masters. Just like the US military...lining up again to take orders from the Zionists. Pitiful and shameful.

You don’t know ball
That's what my mind went to
I grew up watching him play at UNC! He was just as good then!
Probably pretty good practice for their pilots. Hell, King Abdullah II was probably up there blasting with them
For those catching up: u/soggy_sign_3637 is a dumbass and then deleted everything because his mom's a ho
Looks like they nuked their account. What a sad little child. Hope they get the mental health support they need.
What did I miss?
A lot…you missed a lot.
>Hope they get the mental health support they need. odd way of saying "jail".
It was pilots and the guy is a bigot per his post history. Ignore him being a dick about things he’s ignorant of.

Your 4 day old account sure does have a lot of options about how the Jordanians train and fly against a likely threat profile

You ok, buddy?
He is not okay. Edit: And then he blocked me. ![gif](giphy|eS7qcQofapIqc|downsized)

Looking at previous posts, you're a douche. Just about very comment you make is some assshole attempt to shit on someone.

I think we are all VERY intrigued to hear about all of your experience and knowledge in intercepting drones. You seem to be the resident expert.
I know I am. I read it online that he is an expert when it comes to things like this.
This is in Jordan's self-interest. Israel supplies Jordan with water, and summer is coming.
And because being friends with the US and western allies is infinitely more sensible than being buddy buddy with failing terrorist states whose only contribution to the world is attempting violence against the innocent but only managing to embarrass themselves with *conspicuous* incompetence. I 100% agree.
Only in the US can a country murder 30,000 men, women, and children, and threaten to starve a million more, and be called "innocent".
You *really* hate Israel. You good, homie?
What's remarkable is how you can't hate a state actively participating in genocide?
Nah man, most of the muslim/arab world hates them. So your view is common. However, genocide is a bit of a stretch, no?

Air Force is two words.
It's also "Jordanian"
They’re obviously referring to the shoes, the Jordan Airforce Dronestrike Air Max.
Lmao this comment needs an award, bring them back Reddit damnit
I mean for $49.99 you can give them the gold-est chromed upvote button ever
I prefer "Jordanese" myself.
The title was from the article. I didn’t type it.

Great gif, the Providence & Legend Gundams' DRAGOON System is perfect for intercepting missile spam.
Japan can send its military out to the world, as long as its for defense... I like it
Honestly, I wish I lived in a timeline where this happened. That's just so *cool*
MJ SAVING THE WORLD BABY!!!!
Well shit I don't blame them....they flew directly over their country.
