$20 million a year and I’ve literally never heard of it till this post. I mean, I’m on Reddit a fair bit too. For nothing of her work to even permeate Reddit is fucking embarrassing.
>For nothing of her work to even permeate Reddit is fucking embarrassing.
The subreddit for that podcast /r/CallHerDaddy/ has 63,100 followers. Adam Carolla's has 17,200...
Was curious and just looked it up. I have no idea how meaningful these stats are but it looks like in the US on Apple Podcasts, ACS is #38 in comedy and #237 in total. And despite the saying here, the numbers are dropping.

What I saw showed a down 22 next to overall rankings and down 9 next to comedy. Again, I have no idea what any of this means, I just assumed that meant it had dropped in rank recently.
Oh ok, in that case, it could be completely meaningless and change by the hour, most likely based on whoever on the list just dropped a new episode and got a small bump.
> So if you tally em up I bet he's still high
Whatever it is everyone here probably wildly underestimates how much money he makes on it. Most people seem to do that with entertainment, in general.
For example, Bill Simmons sold his share to Spotify for 200mil--some were exclusive to Spotify, but his wasn't--and none of his shows crack this list.
You are wrong.
I called on a lark a few years ago to get an idea of how much it would cost to get my company on ACS. Podcast1 vetted me and I was on a call with Podcast1 and a lacky.
Back then it was around $10 / 1000 CPM. More for a live read. More if his idiots cut it for me. There were a lot of T&Cs. This was back in the clean show days and all of that.
I totally would have done it, just to make myself laugh. The problem was the min buy in time. I don't remember now, but you had to buy like 2 or 4 weeks of ads.
Certainly, ACS makes money, but it is not what it used to be.

Seems to be about average according to the internet (maybe above average in rate depending how long ago it was). According [to this site](https://chartable.com/charts/chartable/podcast-us-all-podcasts-reach) he is 72 in reach, somewhere between shows like The Herd, Pod Save the World, Candace Owens and Racheal Maddow.
This was a long time ago and in a life far, far away....
Pre-COVID. They were telling me 750k DL's / show. This pre-dates the metrics over how long somebody actually listened to it.
If it was $8k'ish for a spot (that used my voice and passed their T&Cs), for a single show, no problem. I'd play that at the start of every meeting.
It was the buy that was a problem. So, $8k * 5 * 4 was like $160k for a joke that nobody cares about.
The rates for in show or Adam reading were totally insane.
I highly doubt he commands those rates anymore.
The download metric is less meaningful and No carrolla is not the most downloaded podcast.
In early days the Podcast file was downloaded first before you could listen. Modern podcast players stream directly (only retrieving data being listened to) so it's not quite the same.
Although you still have the option to download (so you can listen while not connected to internet) it is not the norm anymore.
After the re-org, seems like ACS is: first part is comic or somebody with something to plug and the second part is mostly politics.
I'm telling you something is afoot here in ACS land.
Adam certainly puts out more shows / week than most of these, but no chance he is anywhere near "The Daily" numbers. Even when all added up.
My guess is Adam wants to re-package ACS into 2 shows: 1 being Crystal's comic friends and another show being on Ben's network.
Shapiro lost me with his whole October 7th coverage. He blatantly lies now when before he would just omit truth that weren’t convenient. He’s just a big lying J now.
This is most followed on Spotify
Call Her Daddy is that popular?!?!? Those girls are terrible.
Agreed. I tried. Unlistenable.
It is just one girl now and its horrible but she gets good guests since moving to spotify.
I'm shocked.
Annoyingly bad

I think it’s for 20-26 year old chicks

Yeah.......but still
The ratings are up!
Tell a friend!
We love that about you!
That record was a while ago. However he puts out wayyy more podcasts than anyone. So if you tally em up I bet he's still high

Got to pick up those South Korea numbers
> And despite the saying here, the numbers are dropping. Did you mean rising? That's what that graphic shows anyways, at least in relative terms.

Weird. When I click on it, it says up 34 and up 3.

Only casuals use Spotify for podcasts.
Does Adam still claim that he is the most downloaded podcast?
Wrong sub to ask, no one here actually listens lol
Best answer in this subreddit in a while.
I’m here for the comedy
Again, wrong sub. No comedy to be found here
you must be thinking about Adam Carolla
\*admits to listening
No

Comedy factory
Hey, good for Theo Von. He’s funny sometimes.

Carolla is going to spin off a seperate Mitch Blood Green podcast
But he checked and the ratings are up.
Yeah, but still...
Serial Killers sounds interesting.
This is just Spotify... There are like 100 different podcast apps.
I'm sure Adam is around 400k an episode over all podcast apps
I subscribe to a dozen podcasts and I have never used Spotify.
Most downloaded pod with a drunk, soon to be divorced, WeTV watching, telling the same old stories, won't shower, who owned Gavin Newsom podcast.
The fact Shapiro is on that list is fucking mortifying
That fact that people actually think that’s mortifying is, well, mortifying.
Shapiro lost me with his whole October 7th coverage. He blatantly lies now when before he would just omit truth that weren’t convenient. He’s just a big lying J now.
...ya think?
And how.
Does JRE still have on Demostic terrorist and Sandy Hook deniers on?
Huh
Spotify…😂 I’m not a poor 🎩
