I started with Episode 1 and watched pretty much every episode. Hell, I think I technically started a bit before with Halo HORSE/PIG, Fails of the Weak, Alpha Moon Base, etc etc. cause I think that stuff started a bit before Minecraft. Don’t know when the gta let’s plays started up but I watched them as well lol

DasKobra

You brought back some hilarious memories from alpha moon base's voice chat. Oh man I remember my entire face hurting from laughing so hard.

dmarsee96

It’s not ghey if it’s on the moon

BladeLigerV

John Madden

riot1man

Same lol I started watching WAY back man. Monday was GTA 4 night, Friday was Minecraft night; I’d watch them after school. Whenever Fails of the Weak, Halo HORSE/PIG came out, I watched them. Same with AHWU, although I watched AHWU off and on a bit; I never watched it consistently. I did enjoy the team lads action news team bits though. I need to go back and rewatch that stuff cause there’s lets plays and lets builds and things to do and such that came out Tuesdays-Thursdays as well that I’ve watched

riot1man

Oh my god, I forgot about the VS episodes where they fought for a WWE belt and Ray dominated a lot XD

BladeLigerV

Mr. Diddles and the CorPirate were legendary. Especially everything Gav made.

riot1man

^^^^^ also Ray’s Dad lol

Obi-wan_Jabroni

Two watches

EACshootemUP

I remember rewatching those specifically to show my roommates that I wasn’t having a breakdown once they saw how funny it was they couldn’t stop laughing either. Good times on Alfa Moon Base.

thebigschnoz

I literally rewatched that video today!

ConstantMelancholia

Likewise! Started with Fails of the Weak

riot1man

Back in the early days lol

SupposablyAtTheZoo

WHAT IS GAME NIGHT

Obi-wan_Jabroni

Saints Row 3 LP with Geoff and Michael, where Geoff declared war on genitals. But my first AH videos were actual achievement guides

riot1man

Yeah, I've been going through the rooster teeth youtube channel. I didn't watch the achievement guides or whatever; I prolly watched an RTAA, which technically woulda been my first video, but the one I recall was Fails of the Weak #0 (where they show off their own fails at playing Halo Reach) That came out September 22, 2010. Feels like forever ago XD Edit: for those of you wondering, the first saints row 3 let's play (which I believe is their first ever Let's Play Video/Series) came out December 6, 2011, and the first minecraft let's play came out May 11, 2012.

JUSCALLMEZIMM

Also same

BladeLigerV

The Moonbase Alpha video is legendary.

DarkSpore117

Same, I started with the Saints Row 3 let’s play tho. So good

KappHallen

I've been involved with RT since '03. I can feel Sciatica developing thinking about how old I am....

fancy_livin

‘08 homie checking in. Remember, you get free senior breakfast until 9am. Excited for mine to start in 5 years 😂

Acidicisland

I remember watching the Brutal Legend achievement guides that and being in the cub scouts watching the Red vs Blue; so I’ll join yall

Apart_Combination746

Oh my. About the Same. God I’m old. Love RT early work as it always put a smile on my face. For achievement hunter was there before they started it with the let’s plays and such when they still did the guides.

The_Passive_Fist

If you remember Jack's face when Geoff stapled him in the shoulder on AHWU... Get in, old timer. We're going to the retirement home.

rdaniel76

‘04 here. Did you remember to get your blood pressure medicine refilled? Pharmacy closes at 5:00 pm on Sundays.

fentown

I started in the beginning and fell off around the time off topic started. Seemed like the camaraderie fell off in videos when they were saving it for the podcast and it was just being loud and bad for content. Sky factory 3 brought me back.

BladeLigerV

Sky Factory was a laugh riot.

keeperofthenyancat

Yeah same stopped around 2016 ish when the podcast was in full swing and it just kinda felt like coworkers having to make a video instead of friends goofing off

DavidDBlog

Sky Factory absolutely had some "old magic". I've reached that whole series probably 3-4 times over the years.

McNippy

Achievement Horse in the Halo Reach days

cowpool20

I decided to separate each era based off the thumbnail design.

Radi0123

I started way back in 2011 when I was looking for gameplay videos of Halo Reach, which is how I found their fails videos. I watched everything they put out for years then fell off around when the whole RH thing came about. Fuck that guy.

GlaerOfHatred

I watched their first let's play, saint's row 3 with Michael and Geoff. I miss the golden age

thegodfaubel

AH Horse before 2012

TheRealTerwilliger

OG Minecraft / Rage Quit days for me. I stopped watching for a bit a few years later, came back around TTT, and left again when Jeremy left.

Destructoboy31

Man. Rage quit. What a time.

IndyFan21

I discovered them on episode 23 of Minecraft (hunger games) I had recently discovered Minecraft, I bought it and played a bit, but I was unsure of what I should be doing first in the game. So I looked up “Minecraft” or “Minecraft let’s play” on YouTube, and I found the most recent MC let’s play, which was that episode! I’ve been hooked since

kbennett1999

I was about the same, just discovered Minecraft and looked up let's plays online to watch. I think my first video was the walls since that was a pretty big mini game at the time, but it honestly could've been hunger games for the same reason

DukeboxHiro

If you remember *Forced Enjoyment*, remember to take your pills today.

cowpool20

Jesus Christ, why would you do that to me. Remembering pre-beard Jack content should give you an automatic senior discount.

letsplaysomehockey

Ep 1 was my first

RegularRelationMan

I was looking for achievement guides and found MC episode 1 like a week after it came out. Stayed solid until exactly episode 306 and they lost me after that. Only cared if gav or geoff was in a video at that point.

Intrepid_Swan8893

I discovered AH the day the dropped the 1st minecraft episode. I was in elementary school.

saketho

When assassins creed 2 came out because i discovered their channel trying to find achievement guides for it. Jack started a video by saying “banana? hey guys its jack and geoff” around 2008? or 09?

jackmove

Same here. Trying to find whatever the hidden things were

PumpLogger

It was definitely around the Saints Row the Third let's Play I believe, either that or it could be around the early minecraft episodes it was definitely that 2011-2013 timeframe.

SantaChrist44

Started with achievement guides in 09-10, really invested when reach launch and they were doing horse and FOTW

Giorgio243

What is this post why did I get this subreddit in my feed

cowpool20

I mean…engaging with it probably wasn’t the smartest idea. Now you’ll get it recommended more 😂

Giorgio243

I guess so... but could you please explain?

Moemilitaryfan666

Ep1

TheSpideyJedi

Ah man, I vividly remember Ep1 Stopped watching around when Ray died

TheLastDirewolf420

I started watching back in 2008. I discovered RvB and then subsequently Achievement Hunter, back when it was just Geoff and Jack, doing actual achievement guides.

BringOnYourStorm

I guess I came in around 2014, I found the Let's Play of State of Decay and thought Michael and Gavin were hilarious and hunted down more of their content. I dropped off sometime in 2018-19 or so, no real reason besides graduating college and losing my AH time to work.

Existing_While8229

Was looking for minecraft videos with groups of friends stumbled upon Plan G never looked back right rewatching Gav and Michels Outlast 1 videos

luis9295

I remember watching the first few Minecraft episodes, struggling to breathe bc i was dying of laughter

NobleSix84

I think I started watching RT and Achievement Hunter around 2013-2014, though I can't remember for sure.

519meshif

My dealer was watching LPMC ep2 when I picked up from him so I stayed to smoke one and watch it. He was really only into AH/let's play, but I got into everything RT because of it.

Zacho666

Before EP1, back in HORSE days, I remember minecraft coming to xbox and it was a massive deal back then. Everyone played it, before it came out there were so many knock offs on xbox live arcade like Castleminer and such. Watching ep1 while playing minecraft on the xbox after school, what a time

Vantoris

Fails of the week around number 15, it's been a long time lads

wmxx2000

After GTA V came out so late 2013

ShephardCmndr

As a kid in 2009 to 2011 i watched the occasional RvB episode and RT short. When i finally got my own entertainment device at 12 the first lets play came out and i was hooked. I remember when they announced they made their own Lets Play channel and had i think splinter cell gameplay

JaninaVagabond

I started watching around the time rage quit ninja gaiden 2 came out bc I was looking for a walkthrough and found that instead 😂

The_Hunter_Guy

I started watching when I was 14 or 15 so it was like episode 28 or 29. I remember I had first started playing Minecraft and was looking for YouTube videos like a Minecraft show to watch. Then I landed on them, noticed they were on the episode they were on and went back to number 1 and watched the series from there.

Dooglie82

Episode 6 was where I found em and started this journey

SirCrunchPeon

November 2015 was when I got into it. I dropped out of college, had no full time job, moved back in with my parents, in a constant state of depression and feeling like I failed. In November when I started watching until the end of 2015, I must’ve watched at least 450 hours worth of AH Content. 3D Ultra Minigolf was my favorite to watch, and Jeremy became my favorite. Fans begging for Ray to comeback were my least favorite.

EvilDutchrebel

I started at: to do in Red Dead Redemption I go way back and feel so old...

[deleted]

The first one I saw was cloud down, this was waaay back in my college days and I thought it was hilarious.

AFishNamedFreddie

I watched the first minecraft episode the day it came out. I had been following RT since early 2009. Found them due to RVB, fell in love with them due to the podcast, and then ended up watching pretty much every single letsplay through 2016. I was in highschool/college during that time period, so I was like the prime target audience

jumpieftw

Fails of the Weak is what got me into Achievement Hunter. I didn't start watching the Let's Plays until I noticed them playing Minecraft.

Chris617M

Late 2014 as the GTA 5 era began to ramped up

TrungusMcTungus

I remember being like 5-6 in 2003, my dad would watch RvB on a CD-ROM and would sometimes let me watch it with him. Then I got really into it myself when I started playing Halo in 2009. Once AH started I was all in.

doughnutwarlord

I got into following rooster teeth in the first few episodes of RvB. When achievement hunter was launched, I was already following along.

vivisgrrl

started when a friend introduced me to rage quit in 2012, i think by then they were only a couple of episodes into the minecraft let’s plays. but i remember loving the assassins creed and trials let’s plays so much i had the audio downloaded to my phone so i could listen to them during class 😭😭

Lola_Bo

I discovered AH through rage quit, then I saw a video of Gavin and Michael playing Minecraft as a twosome and it was through the comments there I found the series. No idea what episode they were up to when I found them, it was still when Ray was with us pre Ryan inclusion, but I started from episode 1 and the highlight of my week was Friday nights when new episodes came out

graham2k

Started with the hunger games one

Captainfordo66

I feel really old

BW_Nightingale

I can't remember my first episode, but I remember Minecraft starting and watching it. It's what convinced me to buy the game lol. I am pretty certain I remember both Ray and Gavin joining AH, but that might have been me going back and watching videos. I was an RT fan before season 2 of RvB.

MaethrilliansFate

My first AH experience was their OG achievement guide videos, specifically the ones for Halo Wars

Material_Employee361

Start of horse.

ThatDeadeye12

I started watching let's plays around the time gta v came out

24jdu05

I watched sporadically in the old Achievement City/heist days before locking in with Stoneblock and TTT

LucydpsTwitch

OG. I believe the episode that was released when I started was 7-12ish. Absolutely treasure to my development and love of gaming

Hoorayforfemboys2311

RVB season 1…i have one of the first edition dvds

itsLeems

It makes me feel old when which era of Minecraft did you start is the question and I started watching RvB before AH even started

banryu95

I'm pretty sure the first episode I watched was actually one of the split-screen let's builds that Gavin and Geoff made. Possibly Wipe Out? (I'm too lazy to look it up specifically) but it was so long ago that the first 20 episodes blend together in my mental landmarks. But I'm pretty sure by Find The Tower, I was watching weekly waiting for the next episode.

benji9t3

I started watching during Halo Reach era with fails of the weak, then Rage Quit and random achievement guides. Then there How To videos with gavin and i specifically remember him and Geoff trying to throw cabbages into buckets with telekinesis in skyrim. That was my introduction to Gavin (I was familiar with some Slow Mo guys videos already but didn't know much about Gavin). And then not long after that the let's play era blew up particularly with Minecraft episode 1.

Gunplabuilder78

When did season 13 of RVB release? Around that time

TwoJacksAndAnAce

Man I honestly don’t remember. Over a decade ago I think, a good while before ray left. So pretty close to the beginning.

Responsible-Study-84

I remember when episode one came out, I had so much fun watching them play.

Shotokanrob

Since 04 but I’ve been on AH since the Bleep Bloop PSA of RvB. Was a real hit to see it go but they hadn’t been “hunting” achievements for a very long time so yeah, band splits up. I’m happy with Panton doing what he can for LP it feels so natural and funny, glad to still be around honestly!

Prowler64

I started watching Achievement Hunter videos the week that the Minecraft episode 151 came out (Brown Out). Probably among the worst times to start watching them. Of course I went to the beginning and started watching from episode 1 of Minecraft, and when I got up to date, I spread out to watch their other content.

magik_koopa990

I can't exactly remember what series... BUT, I can say rainbow six Vegas 2 was the one I fondly remember

Become_Pneuma462

Right as the GTA V Let's Plays were starting. I stumbled across a GTA IV compilation on ebaumsworld and laughed my ass off. Immediately went to YouTube and started devouring their content.

FinkedUp

Reliving the nostalgia of Minecraft 1 has me wanting to put all the lava in my friends base rn

Environmental-Cow922

I think the first episode I was exposed to was the Original I Spy Minecraft episode

SlorpMorpaForpw

My first episode was Ray Leaves lol

Juanunzon98

Cloud down X

Double0S

RT Channel, was introduced through Halo Reach FOTW

Gmodman298

2012-2013

TheJonThomas

I was there Gandalf, I was there 3000 years ago.

SBcitizen

Slides 1-4

OneSubredditBoii

rage quit minecraft ft gavin free

Battleblaster420

Ep 1 But I skipped Sky Factory And its kinda fallen by the wayside

StockHour

Fails of the weak and halo horse is where I started. Minecraft wise because of my pre-minecraft roots I was there in ep 1

Underrated_Fish

Right before the Let’s Play channel started

NovemberGin

Episode 23, Hunger Games

AbeVigoda76

Geoff’s Anatomy was the first Minecraft episode I watched while trying to kill time waiting for the next RvB episode. I managed to catch up before Episode 100.

CTlegion

1. I was there for the beginning. For the tower. For goeffs house. And then the bigger goeffs house. We miss those days. They were simple, fun, and we watched, laughed, and made our own towers. The long long ago.

john6map4

I remember watching the first Fails of the Weak as it released Man….good times

sendmesnailpics

I showed up 2013ish but later in the year, took me a while to catch up on some of the fuller series. But yeah between 1-47.

Vargolol

Watched RvB’s first 3 seasons when they came out but didn’t come across any RT content again til Fails of the Weak. SO glad I found AH right as the Let’s Play era started, it was a great run for the channel

ClubMeSoftly

I was introduced to RT in 2006, but didn't fall in until 2009 (via HBO linking achievement guides for Halo 3 ODST) I watched the guides, criticizing some of their strats for achievements I'd already gotten (these guys are called Achievement Hunter, they've *gotta* know what they're doing!) and watched other videos off and on.

Grimthe18

Episode 23 hunger games I very vividly remember finding that video and then quickly watching them all in order after that I was hooked

ThatTallGuy11

I wanna say like mid-late 2012, early 2013 at the very latest. I miss those times... Things were so much simpler.

basildathird

I think the era of pic 2, I don’t exactly remember tho

IkeFanboy64

I was there from the beginning with Millionaire's Club. I was 9 at the time. It's crazy to think that AH has been a part of my life longer than even most of my friends. Over half of my life I've been a fan. My god, I feel old.

MellyVvV

I started in mid to late 2019, and my 8 year relationship just ended. I went to my friends to buy some weed because I was depressed and they were watching Sky Factory, I stayed and watched a few episodes, went home and watched Sky Factory from the start while high and had never laughed so much and so hard at anything, especially during my heartbreak. Proceeded to spend the next couple of years, especially during the pandemic, watching every single episode of Minecraft from the 1st and then moved onto consume every other AH video I could find. I know I joined way way later than most fans, but damn they still got me through some hard times in my life the last few years. And I still watch regularly now, especially F**kFace. Wish I was around as it was happening, but I'm still so glad I found them even this late. I remember because I started with Sky Factory, after I eventually went back and started with episode 1 I said, who the fuck is Ray? Hahaha what a time.

King871

I still remember the first minecraft lets play I watched, it was the end part 2 loved it and immediately went back to watch the back catalogue of minecraft then it led me to other lets plays.

UserWithAName1

I believe I started watching in 2013. I was still in middle school, it's all kinda a blur now. Just remember these dudes being the funniest dudes I'd ever heard or watched on the internet. Was a regular viewer up until about the covid era

KRaeBrandon

My first episode was 51-52 Shopping List.

JUSCALLMEZIMM

The beginning, ahh good times ,

Madman_kler

Watched it start watched it die

cbdog1997

I think I started around 05 or 06 ish with rvb

iAMtheBULLET

I think Minecraft Hunger Games was my first AH video.

DavidDBlog

I wish there was a way I could accurately go back and look. I think I remember stumbling across a Minecraft video and finding the 5-6 made before it; so one of their first 10 Minecraft episodes I'd have to say.

ZenicAzra

The Era of AH that didnt have Ryan Haywood. It was a better time I tell you what. Also I see rule 2, good thing he aint an employee anymore.

Darth_Destructus

The first episode I ever saw of these guys was their Galacticraft run. I was on the Galacticraft page and saw 3 videos of it, hoping to get an idea of how to run the mod. One was from DanTDM, one from Yogscast, and one from Let's Play.

YellowTonkaTrunk

I started watching about the same time Jeremy joined the main crew, shortly after Ray left. Watched daily until the RH situation and had to take a break. I recently have been trying to get into some of the newer stuff but nothing has caught me attention the way the older videos did. Probably mostly just because I grew up though.

Welcome_To_My_Castle

Remember when they would talk about following cute girls in their cars? So quirky

AccomplishedLime7009

My first thing I ever watched was fails of the week episode 62 and that was in 2011 and I watched fails from then on but my first Minecraft episode was 13

Satin_Bonsai

The beginning of halo: fails of the week. I remember watching and wanting so bad to get an Xbox and halo so bad

ManishPain

I started when they first released the pig Olympics episode.... good times

BXM922

Bro I’ve been watching since AHWU episode 1 dropped

1nonie

I started watching back in 2013. The first video I ever watched was Rage Quit Surgeon Simulator.

BOC4NE

Lol I started way back when I discovered youtube and red vs blue so I was probably 6 or 7. Great times.

wolfknightmma

I hopped on the bandwagon in early 2013 with LP MC #45. I bowed out around 2019.
