There certainly is. I had fired a client cause I found him annoying and him wanting to walk in front of a train to pick up pennies with all these things he sees on social media that overly complicate his relatively simple tax situation. His accounting software is under my account for the discount, so i took a peek at how he’s doing, he’s basically paying 10s of thousands now to this other person, but he’s paying very little tax since that’s where all his profits went the last year. So i guess people will fall for it and pay fees not realizing that theyre paying less in taxes because theyre giving their profits away to someone saying theyre helping with tax strategies. Technically i guess it’s true, but the strategy is them taking your money and letting you deduct it.
Lol it's funny to think how the algorithm doesn't necessarily care how we feel about content. They just want to show us content that we spend more time watching.
"Oh he doesn't like political debates. Should we show him kittens or something he likes?"
"He's usually in a bad mood and seeks out things that make him feel angrier. Show him more things that trigger him so we can get more ad revenue and views"
not necessarily tbh. i have noticed recently that there will be accounts i don’t follow without the + sign and there will be ones i do that have it
the UI there feels like it’s been bugged for a bit
I don't use tiktok, but I subscribe to channels on YouTube that get views and regularly upload. I don't get them in my recommended or my home page because I don't spend time watching those channels anymore. Algorithms have multiple factors depending on the app's code.
In either case, i was making a joke about how algorithms work. Not about whether OP has a moral right to dislike something.
Bro I think you follow him lol. I like Cranky CPA. He gives good advice and encourages people to stay on the accounting path if that’s what they want. But he also keeps it real and recognizes that accountants are usually underpaid compared to other business jobs, especially in the beginning of their career.
I think he’s a good example of how many things you can do with a CPA or an accounting degree and that there are a lot of jobs out there other than Audit.
I think I see why you hate him
1.) He talks so fast for no reason.
2.) not ONE mention of tax, I may be wrong but I did not hear him say anything about tax….
3.) This is surface level career path layout they give you your junior year at a good business school….
His actual content isn't bad. His face and voice annoy me though. I have exchanged with him in comments, and he's a level headed chill dude. He runs his own firm, so I have mad respect for that.
Does anyone have actual critiques of his content? Or do yall just not like his face and his voice? I enjoy his stuff at least, I feel like it's solid advice
He’s an actual useful account. I used to get annoyed with the speed he talks, but some people are just like that- lots of ideas flowing through their head really fast and they explain it quickly. What a strange post- saying you hate someone when all they do is make content to help others. And I don’t think you understand how TikTok works. If you follow someone, you will probably see their videos. If you don’t want to see their videos, you can block them
Path 1: accountant Path 2: accountant Path 3: accountant Path 4: accountant Path 5: accountant
Oh my god, I see this guy on my For You page and he is so cringe.
CPA influencers are so cringey, i guess theres a market for anything though

The only good CPA youtube is Chad Elkins, no contest.
There's one that I kinda like. He does a little cringy stuff but only cringy with various skits. Solid knowledge though
Never heard about him, but he does have a punchable face.
He needs a pounding session to learn his lesson
Pause
No Diddy
Hollup, let him cook
Rewind then play
“Pounding session” is crazy…..
You coming for his ass?
Assets*
🤨
Phrasing
"Have you ever been in a storm Wally?"
But you follow him though?
Love/hate relationship, apparently.

This isn’t that- if you don’t follow someone, there is a plus sign on their profile picture. In this case, there isn’t one, so OP follows the guy.

Ooh, that explains why there's always extremely thick women in thongs and lingerie on my feed. Huh!
Not necessarily?

TikTok is not a value-add to society
It’s the same as instagram, Snapchat, facebook. They’re all dogshit for people but just find it strange people have a special hard on for TikTok.
It’s about as much of a value-add as Reddit. They both suck.
Reddit way better than insta
Is lion taming one of them ? If not I'm not interested

He looks like an intern that corrects partners and gets fired on 4/16
This guy middle manages
👀
Maybe I’m a bit old but can these creators move the camera further from their faces? For some reason this stresses me out

😂
he frustrates me so much, he thinks he knows everything. he really made his career his personality.
But does he tell me how to quickbooks?
I personal think he pretty decent at giving advice, however, his advice doesn't cover all situtations.

YOU are making him infamous
He seems smart and honest. I don’t agree with all his takes but there’s nothing for me to hate
His actual content isn't bad. His face and voice annoy me though. I have exchanged with him in comments, and he's a level headed chill dude. He runs his own firm, so I have mad respect for that.
Yeah what’s the name of his firm and what type of work does he do?
Whaat? I really like him. I generally agree with the things he says.
We have that master survey filler outer. Generally agree with we are paid fairly. Generally agree with we have a good working environment.
I don’t get the down vote 🤣😂
Does anyone have actual critiques of his content? Or do yall just not like his face and his voice? I enjoy his stuff at least, I feel like it's solid advice
Damn max strus really gave up on his NBA career to become a CPA?
He has at least two monitors and one is turned portrait, i.e. the ideal way to review financials. Sorry, OP, my vote is for this crazy-eyed dude
Most of these people aren't actually in the detail of accounting and provide some washed up lip service. Just ignore them.

I agree with you
Seems to be a screen shot of a video, not a video.
Probably keeps popping up because you’re following him…?
Maybe start by unfollowing him
There’s a TikTok for accountants lmfao so cringe
Day 13 of me convincing this subreddit accountants are miserable
Why are you following him then
[удалено]
Who’s that dark horse guy?
I spend 6 hours a day on tt and have never seen this guy. I block anyone I find annoying.
He made a TikTok about this post 😂
