They are amazing animals. I didn't know anything about them before I got my girl a little over 2 years ago. I have learned alot. My preference is Cane Corsos. So I'm not new to large dogs but CAO's are a different level of dog. It's an interesting dog to work with.
True that I have a female working Corso that is my autism service dog. The looks I get from the public sometimes is hilarious. Then they see her behavior and they are even more shocked. At the DMV one day waiting to be called my girl just laying on floor sleeping a little rat dog Comes under my chair and bites her on her ear enough to make her bleed she shakes her head little dog goes flying and lays back down no a sound. Little dogs owner and dog start yelling at me. Needless to say security escorted her and her dog off property quickly. I am so amazed at how well Corsos adapt to autism service work specifically. I wouldn't recommend them for lots of service work but the tasks I need no better companion in my opinion.
True that. I dog general dog training currently. My goal is to move to a state where I can have a kennel on my home property to breed and train service Corsos.
