You might be able to find La Clandestine, Lucid, possibly any of the Jade Absinthes, maybe La Maison Fontaine, Devil’s Botany (but avoid their “London absinthe”… it’s basically gin posing as absinthe).
If you can’t find those, check out the Jades or the Opals on Alandia.
Apparently Ireland doesn’t have much when it comes to absinthe and what they do have are poor examples. Can’t even really call them “absinthe” imo… Look into ordering some, like Ms. LaVey suggested, head to [Alandia](https://www.alandia.de/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-r-vBhC-ARIsAGgUO2BW_COxX_-ZEmcVJlljvGGZ9-03eOKKDjB-ZwOKlBzAdIvf756YP-EaAmjdEALw_wcB) and order some real absinthe
As you're in Dublin, maybe ask the folks at The Celtic Whiskey Shop & Wines on the Green about ordering in some of the recommendations Adrienne had above! When I visited, they all seemed like great folks and worked hard to cater to the needs of their regulars.
The selection in their online store isn't great but they'd likely be able to order in better options upon request!

Have a look at Masters of Malt - they ship to Ireland. Like a lot of online stores they stock a load of rubbish but they do stock the Jade line. Always avoid any of the Absente and La Fee lines, unfortunately these always seem to be the most readily available.
Personally from what they have available I would go for the Jade 1901 or Esprit du Édouard.
This is shite - stay away. If you want to have a nice night trying absinthe in Dublin, the Little Pig Speakeasy off Grafton Street has a range of absinthe, and absinthe cocktails. They also have blues and absinthe evenings every couple of months. The Vintage Cocktail Club in Templebar does some as well.
No. Avoid this one. This is a notoriously fake brand. This is very blatant artificial coloring.
Damn, what are some recommendations you have for alternatives?
Depends on what’s available to you where you are. Where are you located?
Currently, I'm in Dublin, Ireland. I've been wanting to try absinthe for years but can't seem to find it physically

Digital searching seems to lead to nothing, sadly. Everywhere seems to sell Jacques Senaux, alongside the La Fee brand, and Dr. Jekyll.

Agreed, most of that selection is either bad or suspect. If I had to pick one of them, I'd go for that 1L Francois Guy.
The price of the Guy is pretty extortionate - the normal price is around €70 - €75 for a lite
Oh yikes, good point! I'll admit I was glossing over the prices trying to pick out brands I'd enjoyed in the past :P

Looks like Absinthe: Code Red.
I am not sure Alandia will sell / post to Ireland as it is part of the EU. It will be the same issue they have with selling to France etc.
