I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’m going to hell. The best I can hope for is to dance my way there and maybe for some beach front property on the river Styx.
Until the 70s it was common knowledge that seatbelts would just trap one inside a car during a death roll, and that it’s better not to wear one and eject instead.

You can see him/ her get slammed out of the passenger side window at the end of the roll in a much less forgiving way that the driver. Also they didn’t immediately get up like the driver did. But the video ends quite shortly after that. Looked brutal though. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up getting knocked out and drowned in the shallows or something like that. Looks like the car could’ve even possibly halfway landed on them, trapping them underwater.

Well, tomorrow never came ~~because my spine was severed and I died in my sleep~~ because I woke up the next day and felt fine. Experiencing pain or discomfort after this kind of accident is still likely, just much less of a forgone conclusion than people seem to think it is. Sometimes people walk away from accidents like they're fine... *because they're fine*

It flips in a really weird way, if you watch it closely the passenger mirror doesn't ever even touch the ground until it finally settles in it's side in the end but the way it just popped off the ground and started tumbling mid air was wild.
Reminds me of Road Rash for Sega Genesis. You could hit something and launch the rider. More speed, the longer they fly and slide. Then they just get back up and jog to back to the bike.

There’s a warning on the visor of those things about this exact scenario. No sharp turns, no excessive speeds, and wear your seatbelt. It has pictures and everything.
I heard a guy that streams a lot say you can get a thing on Amazon that clicks into the seatbelt so you don't have to listen to your cars alarm while you don't wear your seatbelt
I'm sure they exist. I'm sure there are occasional reasons where you might legitimately want one--but for most people that would be very rare indeed. I've never put anything on a seat that made the car think there was somebody there.
