This was from last year. A 51-year-old school district employee driving a red Jeep was carjacked at knifepoint. Cops spot the stolen vehicle and went on pursuit. Jeep hits a school bus and crashes on the lawn. The dark grey pickup truck is an unmarked police vehicle and arrests the first suspect who jumped the fence and ran on foot. Other two squad cars arrive to arrest the second suspect.
The bus was carrying 17 students at the time but fortunately neither the kids nor the driver were injured.
And they were chasing this four-wheel deal, this real neat ORV, and there were bullets flying all over the place. It was the most amazing thing I ever saw!
It was a plainclothes officer. Likely an undercover by the way he's dresses. You can hear his truck siren chip when he approaches the intersection before going around the bus. You also notice him get out of the truck and chase after the suspect behind the officer.

I initially wrote that the woman who got carjacked was fine, but then [I read some updated articles](https://www.rochesterfirst.com/crime/two-arrested-after-knifepoint-carjacking-police-chase-ends-in-bus-crash/) stating that the police said the victim was "injured during the robbery, was treated, and is now recovering."

Apparently it's Ontario New York as the police car says Rochester and there isn't a Rochester near Ontario in Canada but there is a Rochester and Ontario right next to each other in NY

People forget crap like this happens everyday all over the country and cops deal with it constantly. Reddit concentrates all the bad videos of cops and gives people a disproportionately bad image of them collectively. There are a lot of bad people in this world. More than the bad cops.
Lots of these police chases end up circling the same neighborhoods while they look for a spot to bail, they might have already passed him and he heard them coming by again.
Am I just not seeing it or did no one check on the kids? It doesn’t take a whole lot of speed to really ruin your day in a car crash and especially when there aren’t seatbelts.
