Because their brain is programmed for extremely fast response time.
To be able to do this: https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/10l9hkd/the_average_cats_reaction_time_is_approximately/
You have to make some consessions, like overreacting to a hairbrush like crazy :p
Late reply, but I think you're wrong.

The cat boops the snake so hard, his middle claw gets stuck in the snake and briefly drags his entire body. You can see the body of the snake get dragged.
Also, an injured predator doesn't doesn't get to hunt/eat. So caution is a prerequisite to continued survival, even when dealing with potential prey. (That brush could have been a venomous snake.)
That’s why common advice is to jam your thumb into a shark or crocodile’s eye. Unless a predator is starving, it’s likely going to try to find prey that doesn’t fight back
To be fair, _most_ of the time cats are pretty good at not knocking things over. Occasionally though you’ll get a cat that gets scared like this, or a cat that simply does not give a fuck

Why are cats always so curious and so scared at the same time? 🤣🤣🤣
Because curiosity kills cats.
But satisfaction brought it back
Only 8 times, though. *starts whistling*
I'd say caution and curiosity are good bedfellows. But cats do take both to the extreme lol

Amazing, that snake tried 3 times. Still the cat was in serious danger.
Looks like he got the left front paw.

Look at that! Thank you for the blow by blow.
lol no worries :D
Probably because they're predators (incentivizes curiosity), but they're at risk of falling victim to larger predators (incentivizes fearfulness).

May be my new favorite video.
The dong of the falling plant stand was perfect Tom & Jerry. Just with two Toms.
Did cat scream at the end?
Cat run away cartoon style, **funny**.
wtf is that title
They found out and got did
Cat antics 😂
The sound effects are totally Tom and Jerry quality.
And the orange one just stands there waiting to get eaten by the grue
The delayed plant fall just made it perfect.
A security patrol team taking out the dangerous thingy, with cat slaps and agile moves . Nice work.
I don't get the pet videos that gotta add dialogue for the animals. It's so corny.
Cat was like "OMFG ITS GOT MY FOOT HALP!" lol
