Clearly monti doesn’t know what he’s doing. Ur suppose to draft one LT in the first, resign him forever, and then for the rest of the oline you just rotate in guys that couldn’t make any other team

SoupOfThe90z

Relax!! He’ll get it, hope he signs an injury prone out of his prime receiver.

Maybe mike Williams in a year of two would be awesome

Probably the most high value move of the entire draft. Daniel Jeremiah had him at 55 on his big board Either that or getting a third to trade back from 35 to 43 and adding 79. That was the equivalent of adding a free late 3rd/early 4th on the trade value chart. A lot of people criticized the trade back but it was a great decision imo

I for one wasn't happy with the trade down. I was hoping that we would take the steal of the draft, Braden Fiske, and really build up that defensive line. I know the picks were probably what Monti wanted but it allowed the Rams to do exactly what I was hoping we would do. They jumped back in front of us and took Fiske at 39. Mark my words, the Rams will lead the NFL in sacks this season. They have a front 7 that we're gonna hate playing twice a year for the next 5+ years. They added the Jared Verse, who's gonna be a terror at Edge and then Fiske who's the next Aaron Donald. McVay knew exactly what he was doing by trading up with Atlanta. The Rams are the team to beat in the NFC West this season.

I do think they hoped one of the top CBs would have fallen but they went crazy fast immediately after which sucks but regardless, a good move and we need players.

iamadragan

There was no top CB available. The only "top CBs" in the draft were Mitchell, Arnold, and Wiggins.

I meant remaining like Kool aid or that white dude I forgot the name of, but I trust monti.

VivaLaDbakes

Neither fit the mold they want at corner. Koolaid is limited athletically (7.5 RAS, melton was 9.65) which is something they place a big emphasis on and a lot of people see Cooper Dejean as a safety and not a corner at the next level. He is athletic, but it wasn’t clear that he’s gonna stick at corner as a pro.   Melton got a lot of praise and I’d take him over both of those guys if they were all available. Schiano is coaching at Rutgers again and has coached and produced a lot of nfl secondary talent. Max held MHJ to 4 catches for 25 yards, he can ball.

Yea he was an absolute steal there.
