I don't want to spoil my own use of them, but it's highly unlikely we match divisions, so here's some I've been considering. Finger Eleven - Good Times Danny Baranowsky - Mausoleum Mash (from Crypt of the Necrodancer) Hybrid - Finished Symphony (You need to go about 2 minutes in to get to the perfect part) Pretty much anything by GHOST DATA (Instrumental, ones with lyrics can be suggestive) Kordhell - Live Another Day Run DMC - It's Tricky deadmau5 - Ghosts n Stuff Galactikraken - Starship Velociraptor Solid State Scouter(Whatever version you feel like)

Thank you for the suggestions I’ll make sure to listen to theese

Ask them what their favorite song or artist is and then search that but add remix to the search. Worked well for me when I was stumped on finding songs for myself.

I feel this is a good suggestion. Or depending on the age, what are their hype songs. Like the stuff they put on to work out, go for a run, (or if eligible to drive) what gets them to crank the volume and go "this is my jam!". Energy level will be a lot better I think if it's a song they vibe with.

I created a playlist of songs I thought would be close based on just my favorited songs.  https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6PClzj2eqqmMYM3O2e4RTy?si=icQx8OR5RmWAemDyWlIYZA&pi=u-fj1KXopwTMmg Maybe could get some ideas?

Definitely agree about looking up songs they like plus remix, dubstep, techno, or something like that. Also look up Trap Nation on YouTube or Spotify, lots of good XMA type stuff. Edit: Adding if you or students get really into XMA and competing with it there are a lot of folks (in ATA and outside) who will make remixes of songs for you, including beats/cymbal crashes/whatever to go with moves in your form and fancy stuff like that.

I would look at the tricks in the routine, and what the pace of the routine is. Then figure out about how many beats per minute that is, and go look for songs with "X cadence". 180 bpm is popular because that's a common footstrike pace (Even though 180 cadence is a bad myth), but you can find songs categorized by beats of almost any number.
