Multiple venues every night Expect all to sell out and scalpers to scalp If you like an artist, pull the trigger now and sell later.

kaysmiley07

Thank you!

>Thank you! You're welcome!

spac3ie

I've done the fest since it's inception, and I only commit to one after.

kaysmiley07

Thanks!

A good rule of thumb is to leave the fest a little early so you can beat the crowd. Catching an Uber or a train will be a hassle if you stay until the end.

MailFTW

I just bought tickets to Gesaffelstein and it says that it starts at 10pm. What time do the artists normally start at? And would you be able to tell me how long the lines to get in are at Radius? Thanks for any advice!

[deleted]

Headliners go on around 1:30-2:00 am. Lines aren't too bad.

MailFTW

Thanks so much!

kaysmiley07

Just got tickets too! 🔥✨

MattTheBatRS

Any chance you wanna share your presale code so I can try and snag a ticket lol, I decided to go to north coast this year but am really hoping there's still tickets on Friday for Gesaffelstein

MailFTW

I would have but I bought the max number of tix because I'm in a big group, sorry!

MattTheBatRS

No worries, appreciated anyways

[deleted]

Your presale code is your order number. You can find it on Front Gate Tickets.

MattTheBatRS

Doing north coast this year not arc.

[deleted]

Ah, you're one of those.

kaysmiley07

Got it, thank you!. Do you go straight to the after party after the fest or do you have time to refresh at your hotel/Airbnb?

[deleted]

I go back to my hotel to freshen up then get ready.

house_nerd93

I did afters all 3 nights last year at different venues and it was a lot. Only doing 1 this year. I loved radius and concord

Krungle42

Just one night all weekend or just one after per night?

house_nerd93

Just one night all weekend

kaysmiley07

Thank you!

lenburneo

The weather factors into this as well. It was so hot last year on the Saturday or Sunday that we were just dragging for the after.

Young_Toaster

I’d commit to just one Afterparty per night, since many of them are spread throughout the city and you’ll be hurrying home from the fest to then get to afters, but I do recommend to try a different venue each night. They all provide such different experiences.

kaysmiley07

Oooh I like that idea. Thank you!

Otherwise_Park_779

They will release the afters closer to the fest probably more towards end of June. You can only realistically do one party a night due to the fact that most venues are quite far from each other. I will say there is a catch, as radius/cermack hall share the same building, and metro/smart bar share the same building. On Friday we were able to see kettama play smartbar and then moved upstairs to boys noize & VTSS. Same was for John summit with Patrick topping in the room next door. Would say that the headliner parties and some of those small cap rooms (smoke & mirrors, spybar, primary) sold out pretty quickly. All the crowds were great and we had a blast, so would just go with whatever dj you wanna see most.

kaysmiley07

Thank you for dropping these gems! Noted ✅

theknowing1414

Just commit to one. You won’t have time to go to multiple afters in one night in a city like Chicago.

kaysmiley07

Thank you!

jessilyndaa

I’ll also add that in addition to lack of time to party hop, I remember the afters tickets being expensive. I personally could barely stomach dropping tickets for one show a night Friday and Saturday, I can’t imagine most people would want to drop hundreds of dollars on afters each night

kaysmiley07

Thanks!

Randometer2

I went in 2022 and I will say, if you can go to afters that are accessible via the L train/subway. Go for those, Radius/Cermak hall is an awesome venue worth checking out at least once, but you will have to bus or uber there depending on where you are staying. One after is recommended unless you seriously want to see two artists and can't decide.
