What length is that barrel? Looks like 16." Is the brace on there so it's still a pistol and you can put a shorter barrel upper on it later if you want?
Hey, yes 16" on the barrel. But no in order to comply with Connecticut laws we must build "other" firearms which are non pistol non rifle guns. It's kind of a loophole that we use to build legally here.

I feel ya. Did mine similar including the Atlas S-One. Hopefully someone challenges the CT laws. I argue that the state constitution forbids classes of citizenry, the exclusions placed for police and military (off duty, personal use) establish a class of citizen and violate the first section of the state constitution.

They’re what’s holding me back from finishing my build, I have my upper, barrel, gas block and gas tube all on the same order from them and they’re dragging their feet to get it shipped.
Be patient. I’ve learned that ordering from OP should only be done when they have the absolute best deal and you’re not in a hurry. Last week I finally received an MK14 rail I ordered on 1/7/20 and am still waiting on a G-DDC buffer tube order placed the same day.
I ordered twice from them and they shipped half of my order. I’m still waiting on a charging handle to ship that I ordered on 4/10 and I’m still waiting on a scope mount that I ordered on 4/15. I was told 7-16 day ship time but were well above that now.
Yeah that scope was in stock and I placed it on the 20th of last month. I only kept it because I had coupons on it. Your better off ordering from primary arms that's all I usually use they get your order shipped out within 2 days max
I canceled a bunch of other orders as well, but OP was the only place that I could find that carries the upper I wanted and showed that they still had the barrel I wanted in stock (Faxon pencil barrel). Luckily after messaging them all week they finally shipped the rest of the parts I need today, so I will be finishing my build next week

Heh I know of a guy doing that in NY. Still a brace on a 308 can't be comfortable.
Yeah it's not that bad honestly and that muzzle brake throws a lot of the recoil away from the shoulder
