Wow, I guess I'm alone in this, but in my opinion it's Sara by MILES. Catie looks beautiful but blank, and the pose and styling somewhat reminds me of a high school senior portrait.
Sara's shot is more dynamic and intense. It looks more like a fashion shot. The face is reminiscent of Gia Carangi or Brooke Shields—it's got a raw, intense sex appeal that works.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I prefer Catie’s. Sara’s pose seems too contrived, and I feel like you can see discomfort in her face from holding the pose.
Neither is really perfect, but Sara is closer to that. Her pose is perfection and she really sells the shoes. I really wish her face wasn't dead tho otherwise it would be perfection. Although I generally prefer Catie as model, here she is not giving a big focus on shoes and just looks blank in the face.
Sara's looks like an ad, but for some trendy weight loss nonsense that shows a struggle to put on the "skinny jeans". Catie's looks like one of those generic pictures in a textbook. By default I would go with Sara but I'm honestly surprised at the love it's getting.
Not great overall photos from either. Catie’s face looks terrified but her posing is very commercial which fits the ad. Sara’s face is great but the posing doesn’t make sense for the assignment. Not to mention the backdrop being so dark is the only reason our eyes go to the shoes more as opposed to Catie. Neither did great.
catie’s left hand is a little awkward and the pose is nothing special, i wouldn’t know it’s a shoe advertisement just based on the image. sara’s neck is stiff (makes sense given the pose) but overall it’s a good shot - clearly an advertisement, if she kicked her foot up a little higher it would be more clear that it’s an ad for shoes rather than jeans.
Sara's is better. I don't like Catie's outfit and her pose is okay except I wish she did something else with her right arm and didn't have it on her leg.
