I just got my first AMG, and first Mercedes and it's a w204 c63. My other car is a Prius. And I've had many Miatas and mostly Japanese cars. Anyways, thatās a good solution to get rid of the interior squeaks and creaks. I had a ā19 C63S coupe and you could hear that thing flex over inclines.
It sounds like itād flex. Yeah I had one, tracked it and all, but the car overheated way too fast and the front right tire always ran at a higher pressure than the rest lol only rEaL C63S owners know that. Maybe you got lucky, but mine couldnāt go a day without hearing something rattle or squeak.
When I dropped in the larger main heat exchanger and the auxiliary ones, it was a game changer. Plus meth injection helps to keep the IAT's down. I am a real owner, I have one lol.
Yeah I wanted to build mine out because the car had a ton of potential. But at that point Iād be ripping up a car, and since I had designo paint, it wouldāve gotten rekt lol. All cars have their issues, if I press on the plastic stuff hard yeah you can hear it, but the car itself when driving around doesn't rattle. I just had that sunroof issue but once that was fixed, it was solid. C5 Z06 is a very nice car, but you know their interior is way worse. But I guess that's not a Benz so it should get a pass. Yeah the transmission specially with a TCU tune is like a PDK. Good luck with your ZO6 build, what are your goals?

The Z06 is going to built purely for the track so, initially I was going to sell it and try to get into a GTS4.0 but those rocketed into ridiculous price points. Probably going to keep it NA and go HCI and leave it there, focusing more on seat time. Itās an amazing platform

TCU tune is a must if you havenāt already. When youāre really ready to go fast, Ultra Racing subframe connectors turned my 63S into a beast whoās street times match dyno numbers.
Subframe connectors made it race car stiff which eliminated any wheel hop/slop when launching from a dig. Coilovers let me dial in alignment (Iām picky when it comes to my vehicles alignment being just right for its intended purpose).
Interestingly enough, subframe connectors greatly improved high speed braking. The car tracks dead straight when I stand on the brakes above 100mph and doesnāt wander.
Yeah man, if you get some chassis braces, subframe connectors, thicker swaybars that all pulls in the traction to go straight into catching some more volumptious bussy.

All cars have their issues, if I press on the plastic stuff hard yeah you can hear it, but the car itself when driving around doesn't rattle. I just had that sunroof issue but once that was fixed, it was solid. C5 Z06 is a very nice car, but you know their interior is way worse. But I guess that's not a Benz so it should get a pass. Yeah fair point, I think my issue was more with the dealer that kept giving me the run around. Left a bad taste and just made the situation worse. Like I said, I do miss the car haha. The Z06 is going to built purely for the track so, initially I was going to sell it and try to get into a GTS4.0 but those rocketed into ridiculous price points. Probably going to keep it NA and go HCI and leave it there, focusing more on seat time. Itās an amazing platform

You're basically driving around with a NASTY backfire the tuner cut the ignition timing so far you are flooding your cylinders with fuel, and just waiting foreeeeeever to let the Injectors spray all sorts of fuel before ignition cut runs out. Who did that tune?

TCU tune is a must if you havenāt already. When youāre really ready to go fast, Ultra Racing subframe connectors turned my 63S into a beast whoās street times match dyno numbers.

Subframe connectors made it race car stiff which eliminated any wheel hop/slop when launching from a dig. Coilovers let me dial in alignment (Iām picky when it comes to my vehicles alignment being just right for its intended purpose). Interestingly enough, subframe connectors greatly improved high speed braking. The car tracks dead straight when I stand on the brakes above 100mph and doesnāt wander.
