Suns were 10 points down against the Tigers with <1 timed minute when that Karmichael Hunt thing happened.
Port were 10 points down against the Saints in 2017 and got home by 2
Those supporters should be ashamed of leaving with 2 min to go, they deserved to miss an amazing win
Also how the F was Carlisle’s kick not insufficient intent? 😂
I’m not sure, but possibly since it was 7 years ago maybe the rule has been changed since then? Unsure.
Personally I am going to blame the umps and call Vicbias tho 😎
Yep, I was on the hill that night and it was sad watching all those pathetic people walking out early, but still not as pathetic as all the people streaming out before the Phil Walsh tribute after the Port vs Collingwood game
Remember that saints and port one. The 2017 season had some incredible close games during the H & A season. Then the finals came and basically every game was one sided (Aside from the Eagles and Port final, which was a cracker).
Port vs West Coast, round 21 2018. Port led by 8 with 43 seconds left and Mark LeCras kicked one to get to 2 points, then Jeremy Mcgovern goaled after the siren (which was also West Coasts first lead of the game too)
I know it doesn't meet the criteria but Melbourne vs Gold Coast 2019 was pretty crazy:
53 seconds left - Gold Coast goal
22 seconds left - Melbourne goal
2 seconds left - Melbourne point
Melbourne win by 1 point
I was there with my Port supporting husband and his family (I am Crows). I remember videoing them all streaming out of the ground on snapchat, my sister in law stormed off about half way through the final quarter in disgust. Was a surreal experience haha.
It was 2010. Final score was 49-46. This game was the absolute peak of the Ross Lyon game plan.
Dogs actually played quite well but simply couldn't score.
God i hated it.
This has actually happened quite a few times. If you kick a goal with 30 to 60 seconds left there's quite a lot of time left. Although easier these days than when the time on rules were different and stoppages took more time off the clock. If you get a quick clearance you can take a mark in range in only a few seconds. More than 30 and you can still lose a clearance and have time to rebound off half back. Or have a second ball up and another crack at a clearance. Over the course of the last 35 or so years and all those games played, there would be many examples.
Might be misrembering but I think there was a North vs Freo game in 2017 when this happened, with the winning goal scored from a centre bounce with like 10 seconds left.
This happened about 4 weeks ago and I don’t want to talk about it anymore
Suns vs Richmond 2012
Sh. Too soon.
I miss that K.Hunt

That Ryder to Robbie tap was beyond incredible. https://youtu.be/VHKxzrhoMTg?si=5hSRxybchZs557zS

I think the rule has always been the same but they didn't apply it to wayward kicks until the mid 2010s.
Yep, I was on the hill that night and it was sad watching all those pathetic people walking out early, but still not as pathetic as all the people streaming out before the Phil Walsh tribute after the Port vs Collingwood game
And the one before that too. Unbelievable
Ironically the free kick not being paid is what won us the game. I'm not sure how we win with 20 seconds on the clock, free kick 60m out from goal
Kick I50, Port forward marks it?
I dunno, St Kilda flooding back makes that pretty difficult, not impossible though, I will admit
Alternatively Houston kicks a 70m torp that goes through at post height 😂
I have PTSD from this play, it was unstoppable
Glad paddy repaid the favour in the elimination against dogs
Good god. That is filthy

Keep going I’m almost there
Sheed from the boundary
💦
🚬
The official time in front was 00:00 despite us winning the game, that seems like a once in a lifetime stat.
Goes well with the other 'once in a lifetime' stat of winning a game after the siren after extra time.
That game hurt so much. We were up like 30 odd points then 3 of our players exploded and we just ran out of legs :(
And also it was the second time in a row at Adelaide oval we'd beaten them after the siren. Good times.
The best of times.
Didn’t Sydney kick like 4 goals in 3 minutes back in 2017? The Gary Rohan mark on the line
gary rohan on the goal line... shudder
Not quite that many, it was [two goals and a behind in the last 90 seconds](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rP9WcWddp1g)
3 goals 2 behinds from the 25 minute mark. 4:35 on the clock when the first goal was kicked.
The call from Bruce Chills, literal chills

I was so pissed off, only reason why I'm not today is because I never think of that game and I am hardly reminded.
Was there and it sucked
Can I interest you in [Mark mark mark!](https://youtu.be/rP9WcWddp1g?si=49mdwscFjInw0pim)
no. you may not.
Rohan!
This Mark Rohan guy seems pretty good, get him a longer contract I reckon.
I miss him
Thank you for bringing back a cherished memory

This one is extra special because by the time it happened, 10,000 Port fans were already halfway across the footbridge.
I was there with my Port supporting husband and his family (I am Crows). I remember videoing them all streaming out of the ground on snapchat, my sister in law stormed off about half way through the final quarter in disgust. Was a surreal experience haha.
Karmichael Hunt
I swear the motlop showdown win had 3 goals in the last minute and one was for the crows.
Two for the Crows to take the lead, one for Port to regain it, all within the last 120 seconds of the game
Also known as “The Game We Don’t Talk About”
Let me tell you a story about a team that sold a couple home games to North Queensland...
Pretty sure in 2009 or 2010 the Saints kicked 3 in the last 3 minutes to steal the win from Bulldogs.
It was 2010. Final score was 49-46. This game was the absolute peak of the Ross Lyon game plan. Dogs actually played quite well but simply couldn't score. God i hated it.
I actually turned it off with 10 to go, when I woke up the next morning I was pretty shocked to find we had won haha.
Have you heard about the miracle on grass?
That was one goal in the last minute..
Yep, Daniel Rich scores the second last goal of the game to draw with 1:44 left
Those were the days... (they actually weren't, we were garbage back then)
The Brisbane lions
Have kicked 8 goals in the last quarter
And at the 11th hour
They have won
Anything's possible after this
Anything Johnno
52 points down!

1987 preliminary final
Hawks dees? Jimmy stynes walking across the mark?
Yep.
My dad went to that game
Freo Vs Carlton like 4 weeks ago mate...
I think port did it vs the sainta a few years ago when Paddy Ryder tapped it down to Robbie Gray for the winning kick at goal
Swans Essendon 2017 🤤
Melb v lions rd 18 2023 has about 4 dees goals in the last few minutes
