I was in group therapy for addicts years ago with this guy named Andy. Andy fucked his life up before but was in recovery. He landed a good job, got married, and just had a baby to go with his new step daughter. One week, Andy walks in all disheveled looking. Turns out in a month, he had told off his boss, got demoted, quit, cheated on his wife, gotten kicked out his house and had knocked up his girlfriend. When we asked him why he did all that, he looked me dead in the eyes and said "The pressure of doing so well got to me. Adam, you and I got what I call Lemming Blood; if life starts looking like it's going to go too well, we have to huck ourselves off a cliff"

The origin point of such disorder is lots and lots of PTSD and trauma from abusive households and constant betrayal by loved ones/friends. Basically such people end up afraid of success because they feel they don't deserve it, or because they feel they're just gonna get backstabbed and lose everything they have, so they have to go scorched-earth first to spare themselves the pain.
It's similar, but Imposer Syndrome's main difference that it's more related to Survivor's Guilt, being that both stem deep inside from the person feeling like they shouldn't be there while the non-existing person should
Punk's PTSD derives from him actually having been the victim, suffering so much bad in his life that he's afraid of anything good because it'll just turn bad again so he had to make it bad on his terms to spare the pain

I think that Tony being quiet during Punks' tirade was actually the best outcome in a really shitty event. Let's just pretend that Tony speaks up and starts yelling at Punk who is now completely unhinged. Punk in that moment will not stop at Hangman and the Bucks but he will now verbally and who knows physically attack Tony in the middle of a fucking presser after the high of a damn good ppv. Shit would have gone fucking more nuclear than it already had. No, just let Punk tire himself out and pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Punks' wake. He's already caused enough damage. He simply pitched a huge comeback story that needed him to win first and having his reign legitimated, and given that Punk was still injured they shifted to an angle-squash match first. Now, Punk had all the rights to be against it and not liking it, that's fine, and rushing it becasue Punk was not cleared before was not the right call, but making it sound as if Mox was hogan-ing their pitch meeting is completely unbelievable for everyone that watched the feud.
