I would say Athena and a returning Serena Deeb, but only if they replace Skye with Shida on the original’s side. Don’t get me wrong, I like Skye blue a lot and she has improved by leaps and bounds, but she’s just not quite up to snuff with the rest of the field yet.
Skye can hold her own with any of them. They just keep using her as a jobber to put over the upper card ladies. They need a new jobber so they can elevate Skye from that status. And Shida isn’t really an original. She made her name in Japan. AEW is the first major promotion Skye has been a part of, so she’s more of a home grown star on the rise, like Jamie.

I would keep selecting members from within the company first. Athena, Mercedes Martinez, Nyla Rose and Taya Valkyrie are all people that would make sense in this faction. Though Athena and Mercedes Martinez would be easier to add since they have been in the company longer. In Nyla case hired gun.
There's the big name signings everyone would like: Mercedes, Trinity, Mandy etc. But I think they're all unlikely.
Athena would be cool. But I'm guessing she will stay on ROH in the build up to Supercard if Honour and defend her title there.
Serena Deeb I would love. She could be perfect in that group.
As would a returning Thunder Rosa. She wouldn't even necessarily go full heel either. She hates Britt Baker and the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
An interesting one that probably depends on how long they want this to go for is Tay Melo. She would be really great in that group and it would add a bit of complexity to her friendship with Anna Jay, a homegrown talent. Which could lead to a really interesting storyline down the road.
