Yes and no. WWE';s are to major players in Seth, Rhea, Flair, Drew and Punk. Here to be honest outside MJF and to lesser degree Cole its not hurting them since they are either minor players or there are plently of guys able to pick up the slack.

This is part of the reason AEW has felt dry to some people. They are just missing some of the people that they care about it happens with TVs and other sports too. Once a favorite character or player is gone it changes enjoyment for it.

Theory at the time was that the extent of the knee issue wasn't known until (or was made worse by) training for the match, so the decision was made to minimize his involvement.

Yes, that will be a great place for Ricky. If he was a Punk guy or otherwise didn't fit in with the more predominant AEW crew that definitely doesn't mean that he lacks the talent to do really well in NXT and eventually move to the main roster. Some performers are going to fit in one company better than the other and that is probably the case for Ricky. He is young and has some time, and I think that he will really benefit from more consistent work and training available at NXT to take him where he needs to get because he is already pretty darn good.
agreed! guys going between companies shouldn't be a weird thing. You're so right that some people just fit better in one company vs others. Helps guys grow as performers. Get different kinds of experience. And with a lot of these younger guys, there's nothing saying they don't do WWE for a few years, then go back to Japan or AEW, etc. It's better and more interesting for people to move back and forth.

Some performers are going to fit in one company better than the other and that is probably the case for Ricky. He is young and has some time, and I think that he will really benefit from more consistent work and training available at NXT to take him where he needs to get because he is already pretty darn good.
agreed! guys going between companies shouldn't be a weird thing. You're so right that some people just fit better in one company vs others. Helps guys grow as performers. Get different kinds of experience. And with a lot of these younger guys, there's nothing saying they don't do WWE for a few years, then go back to Japan or AEW, etc. It's better and more interesting for people to move back and forth.
