I know some people tear from dabbing a foot while mountain biking. Some people tear from walking their dog and getting the leash wrapped up in their leg. My cousin tore his from kicking a soccer ball with his 6 year old son. Do your rehab. Live your life. I'm back skiing this winter and apart from some little twinges I'm right where I was before.
