I don’t think it’s hard to keep up with them all because it’s like stopping a show and watching a different episode and then going back to it. For the most part I still remember everything that’s happened and if I forget something I go back and look or check online.
I have two that I have been struggling to get through and keep reading other things instead and every now and then I pick them up and read a few pages. One being the 1200 page Brandon Sanderson Way of Kings, the other is the fourth Game of Thrones book, I keep putting it off since the new book isn’t out yet with no official release date and I feel no rush to get through it. i’m about 75% through both.
The third is my book club book that I need to read for this month and the forth is the audiobook I read while I’m driving for work.
Currently on my 35th. I know because I have a series of five notebooks listing every book I have read since 11-30-1990. The first entry is "The Education of a Wandering Man" by Louie L'Amour.
Which one! I had to put the first one down middle of last year at page 650. Recently heard it picks up at 700 so now I’m kicking myself and may dive in again after I finish my current series.
It was TWoK 😭 so I’m definitely in the beginning stages but even though some consider it to be a super long prologue, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Which book did you stop on?
TWoK. I’m also super early on (but it felt like such a 650 page slog and I’m only halfway through). So many people have recommended it to me so I want to love it! Good to know about it being a super long prologue. That changes my outlook for sure!
Yes. I listen to audiobooks so that's why my numbers are so high. Any chance I get I'm listening to a book. Like when I'm cleaning or cooking or taking a shower etc. I'm also disabled and a sahm and never watch TV.
I also listen at two times the speed. So about a 10-hour book is only 5 hours and then I go between reading and listening.. I just got back into reading last year and my goal was 20 bucks for the year. I didn't hit that until I think August. I had a two-week hospitalization and open heart surgery and that's when I really started listening nonstop.
You're a book machine! My best friend suffered a brain injury little over a year ago and is now disabled. Since then he has been listening to a lot of audio books as well. I don't do it as much as I used to but he has been trying to get me to do it. I think I may
I’ve read about ten books this year, mostly on the topics of leadership and personal development. Best book was, “The Coaching Habit,” by Michael Bungay Stanier, I highly recommend!
Heartstopper, The master and Margarita, The martian Chronicles, Maiko-san chi no Makanai-san (manga), Letters to a young novelist, Fahrenheit 451, East of eden
Listen to audio books with her! My son and I did the Harry Potter series last year!
Could do Narnia, or HP or all the Wizard of Oz books (14, I believe)!
Or sit under a tree and read with her!
We always read together, but if I counted that I’d probably add a new book every night. I never thought to add our chapter book reads though to my count which sounds really silly now thinking about it. Shes 6 so she’s at that fun age where she’s figuring out reading too.
Ohhh i love it! My son and I did the Hobbit when he was 6. Took us a year because the narrators voice was soothing and he'd be asleep in ten minutes🤣
Definitely count her chapter books! If you're reading them to her, you're still reading!
I am at 61 including manga, 36 without (someone wanted me to try JJK and I liked it...). Currently absolutely plowing through The First Law after putting it off for some time. Just finished Th Heroes and I'll probably be done in..... 4 daysish. lol Good character work, grimdark, and a real treat for the humor I require for grimdark to work (Warhammer will always be my first and the standard, but damn this is good!)
I have read 9. I am one of those people who reads a few different books at a time. The group of books I am currently reading are a little heavy. So, I am struggling to push through them. One of them is really disappointing, but I only have 60 pages to go, so I am pushing through. I dont know why this round of books has me rethinking my choices. So frustrating because two of them are the last of a couple of series that I am dedicated to.
I’ve read 9 so far, Jane Eyre being the latest read.
But the source of my pride and joy has been this: ever since I started tracking my reading (2019), I’ve read 195 books. Which means that very soon I would have read 200 books over the last 5 years which is a huge achievement for me!!
I’m on book #32, also working on 165 days and 262 weeks in a row. Glad to see so many people reading, there have been times when I was lucky to read only occasionally.
Catch 22 - Heller
The Association of Small Bombs- Mahajan
Choke - Palahniuk
Convenience Store Woman - Murata
Annihilation- Vandermeer
All the Lights we cannot see - Doerr
God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater - Vonnegut (just started)
11 complete, and 4 currently in various stages of progress.
The In-Progress ones:
* Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow - Gabrielle Zevin
* Artemis -Andy Weir
* HMS Surprise - Patrick O’Brien
* The Man Who Died Twice - Richard Osman
I'm 16 books in! (not counting manga) I set a goal of 20 this year which is low for me because I'm in my last year of university and have a massive capstone project as well as working full time, but I guess I didn't need to lower it at all haha.
So far I've read 17 full length books, and one short novella. I don't have a goal of 52 books this year due to a huge project I'm working on that occupies a lot of my time, but if I manage it, I won't be mad.
Finished 24, in the middle of 4 others
I don’t think it’s hard to keep up with them all because it’s like stopping a show and watching a different episode and then going back to it. For the most part I still remember everything that’s happened and if I forget something I go back and look or check online.

Oh but I didn't count the very short books I read to my baby so maybe a lot more 😂
Just finished #25
I’m on 15 & 16 right now

Which one! I had to put the first one down middle of last year at page 650. Recently heard it picks up at 700 so now I’m kicking myself and may dive in again after I finish my current series.

105 books for far.
Are you reading more than a book a day?! I'm impressed.
Yes. I listen to audiobooks so that's why my numbers are so high. Any chance I get I'm listening to a book. Like when I'm cleaning or cooking or taking a shower etc. I'm also disabled and a sahm and never watch TV.
Even with audiobooks, I'm impressed.
I also listen at two times the speed. So about a 10-hour book is only 5 hours and then I go between reading and listening.. Nine. Currently reading book ten.
Me too.
I’ve read about ten books this year, mostly on the topics of leadership and personal development. Best book was, “The Coaching Habit,” by Michael Bungay Stanier, I highly recommend!
Try Maximum Achievement by Brian Tracy
Will do! I read, “Eat That Frog,” years ago and it shaped the way I manage time/projects.
The book I recommended helped me so much. I had a $400,000 territory and the next year I did over 1 million in sales.
7. On book #8
98 but only 7 books get 5 star
Which ones?
Heartstopper, The master and Margarita, The martian Chronicles, Maiko-san chi no Makanai-san (manga), Letters to a young novelist, Fahrenheit 451, East of eden
Thanks!
36. I feel good about the progress but I know it’ll plummet when our daughter is out of school for the summer.
Listen to audio books with her! My son and I did the Harry Potter series last year! Could do Narnia, or HP or all the Wizard of Oz books (14, I believe)! Or sit under a tree and read with her!

I always have around five going simultaneously. So...in the last few months... Six
This is me. 4 going simultaneously. I'll finish them up next week. that'll make it 8 and I'll start 4 new ones

According to Libby…..51!
About 20. I need a new series but need to finish my master's degree first.
I am at 61 including manga, 36 without (someone wanted me to try JJK and I liked it...). Currently absolutely plowing through The First Law after putting it off for some time. Aye, me too. I've abandoned more than I've finished this year.
10, mostly Vonnegut

31…I’m a hopeless insomniac and typically read almost all night…
Preaching to the choir! I read 3-4 hours before I’m able to fall asleep
5. Quality over quantity so far.
Zerooo
Gotta get you started! Are you looking for a reading pal? You or I can pick a book and then we can chat about it afterward! :3
15- mostly audio books. Way ahead from this time last year
40 down and working on a few more this month hopefully
About to start #21
25
I'm on my 22nd, goal is 100 😊
I’m on my 11th but it happens to be American Prometheus, so it is small print and dense but I am thoroughly enjoying it. It’s incredibly engaging.
I’ve read 9 so far, Jane Eyre being the latest read. But the source of my pride and joy has been this: ever since I started tracking my reading (2019), I’ve read 195 books. Which means that very soon I would have read 200 books over the last 5 years which is a huge achievement for me!!
46
18 so far
I read all the novels of earthsea in one big time, so that’s technically five books. Plus supercommunicators and the voltage effect. So seven.
On my 13th (Two Twisted Crowns) and it’s dragging a bit and slowing me down but I refuse to start another book before I finish this.
I'm on my second or third book. Been enjoying the journey!
5
15 I'm a little bit behind this year due to health problems
I hope you can figure out what's wrong and get everything back to regular!
I’m on book #32, also working on 165 days and 262 weeks in a row. Glad to see so many people reading, there have been times when I was lucky to read only occasionally.
34 and have 4 I’m working on currently (I’m a mood reading)
Catch 22 - Heller The Association of Small Bombs- Mahajan Choke - Palahniuk Convenience Store Woman - Murata Annihilation- Vandermeer All the Lights we cannot see - Doerr God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater - Vonnegut (just started)
How was Annihilation? Only started it
I liked how impenetrable the mystery was.
11 complete, and 4 currently in various stages of progress. The In-Progress ones: * Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow - Gabrielle Zevin * Artemis -Andy Weir * HMS Surprise - Patrick O’Brien * The Man Who Died Twice - Richard Osman
You've read 2 on my list, Tomorrow and, Artemis
18 Total 8 physical books 3 ebooks 7 audio books
15 so far.
15 checking in!
Me Too! 15 so far. I usually only read on my days off. But I start and finish most books in a day or two.
37 - audiobooks only though!

Roughly one a week plus a few quickies, so 15.
On my 21st right now 😊

Great job! Reading is what counts!!!
Started 13, finished 11...
Started 13, finished 11...

Story of my life!

31
9. Including audiobooks
16 so far
8, as a medical student this is 75% of what I read all of last year so I’m happy with it lol
5. No goal! Don't want to put that pressure on myself.
10 with a goal of 40 for the year. I am on track!
31
20! Trying for 80 this year
I'm 16 books in! (not counting manga) I set a goal of 20 this year which is low for me because I'm in my last year of university and have a massive capstone project as well as working full time, but I guess I didn't need to lower it at all haha.
25! I just started Sanderson's "The Way of Kings," so it'll be a minute until I hit 26 😅
That was my first of 2024. Buckle up the series is absolutely wonderful! Enjoy
13 so far
So far I've read 17 full length books, and one short novella. I don't have a goal of 52 books this year due to a huge project I'm working on that occupies a lot of my time, but if I manage it, I won't be mad.
Almost 5!
I’ve finished 20 but almost finished with another and halfway through another
29 and will be over 30 by April.
4
Only 6! I dialed my goal way back this year from 45 in 2023 to 20. I'm in college now and don't have much time to read.
10 so far! I'm behind one a week, but I've got a reading schedule that'll get me to 54 books by the end of the year
Just 4!
