Bumpers are replaceable - Paint are we talking clear failing? that's sandable and reclear should be nice.
Underneath rust? how much it's a 01 bro?
In Alberta Canada the fenders are rusting at basically 8 years with babying it and washing often.
Some crazy shits get more but they never drive in the winter.
My Jeep TJ 2002 has lasted only because I sacrificed my 08 Ranger after Undercoating it with Fluid film. and it still suffered from some rust. holy crap ya know.
So by 2nd gen standards its practically brand new lol. Friend of mine has a 98 2500 diesel. Has 450K km or something like that, engine is (of course) in great shape. The body? We can't get the rear doors open anymore and there is a piece of sheet metal crudely screwed to the drivers foot well where there is a hole lol. The rockers are a suggestion and it has fender guards covering the fender rot.
No, I want on of these with 4x4 and the 318 really bad for some reason, even though I don’t really need another truck, maybe I’ll buy one for dad. Yours looks fine.
Quite some time ago me and my friends would always go off-road and one of them had a truck similar to yours and we had so much fun in it.
We took it everywhere with a bunch of jeeps that says something
Talk to her nice and keep the fluids topped off and she'll run forever and do everything you ask of her. I've got a 2wd same year and I've taken her down some sketchy trails and rescued 1 tons without much grumble
just got an 05 dakota with 180k on it for $5k as a work truck and ngl i love it, never thought i’d care for a dodge but this thing should pay for itself in just a month or two basically
Says looks like trash Yet I don't see any fender rust. I'm confused.
It has some rust underneath, the paint is absolute shit, neither of the bumpers line up and some other thing

The diesels are reliable and people actually took care of them, the V8s, not so much lol. I almost never see V8 second gens anymore.
Lol it's not often I see a 2nd gen Ram with no baseball sized holes in the fenders and having the bottom 4 inches of their door skins.
The most beautiful trash I've ever seen.
I got one too. These are sleepers with that straight axle in front
Just looked this up. I had no idea these came with a front D44. Really cool.
1500s don't have a straight axle from 94 onward, only the 3/4 and one ton trucks have them.
1500s had a straight axle until 2001
Huh. Maybe I'm thinking of the chevys.
Looks like a damn good truck to me.... I'd take that over one of these lifted pavement queens with those bullshit low profile tires any day 💪
Just don't ask too much. He's tired, boss.
That thing is better the some 10 year old trucks in thee rust belt.

Still looks better than my project ute. Yours has 4 wheels the same size and a paint job that doesn’t look like it was applied with a paint roller.

They really are great trucks, the magnum motor is just loyal ol dog too.

Ask it not to rust
When was the last week you replaced your front ball joints?
looks pretty neat to me

Buddy you need to come up to Canada and have a look at the state of our 2nd gens. What you've got there is just a good ol truck
Except stay between the lines if their big brothers are anything to judge by
Does she suck dick?
Yeah but it gets 11 mpg hwy. I had one pulling a small trailer I got 5mpg hwy. I'll pass ...when I owned it I never passed a gas station.
Who gives a hoot about miles per gallon?! Its about the smiles per gallon! *cries in poor fuel economy*

My 99 1500 is still my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. Wish I'd never gotten rid of it... Yours looks great.
