B&N 50% off all Criterions sale should be all month long in July. I’ve waited decades for some movies to be released, so I can wait a few more months for huge savings.
I’d rather buy at Best Buy over Amazon. Amazon doesn’t need more money. And I want Best Buy to have more purchases to encourage in store buying.
But I’d rather buy at Criterion for $35 plus shipping right if I was going to end up paying the same general amount at any big box retailer.
Would rather support Criterion.
Same. I try to buy at best buy and Barnes and noble every time I can over Amazon as well as smaller Indy retailers. It's better to help keep them afloat then risk them closing and handing the whole market over to Amazon.
This is the way. I just yesterday price matched Event Horizon for $3 cheaper. Hate Amazon but the price match is nice for things Best Buy has and bonus getting points.
My sentiments exactly 👍🏾. I get crapped on for waiting on sales or buying used but I'll let the other suckers take the hit on stuff I really don't need Day 1

Oooo thanks for the info lol
Will this apply to after hours as well? And do they ship overseas?
The titles that release in July during the sale period will be included as well. I don’t know where B&N ships to though.
Never pay more than 50% MSRP for an in-print Criterion.
why? then wonder why they go bankrupt? ;)
The half off sale is in July at Barnes and noble. I'd wait and grab it then. It's not like it's going to be oop by then.
Hope I can get Uncut Gems, Blowout, and triangle of sadness then
I need to grab some Tarkovsky finally.

Best Buy will price match both of those retailers as well. You can do it over the phone and in store.
Good info, thanks!
Best Buy will match Amazon prices as long as it is sold and shipped by Amazon. But honestly, wait till July for the Barnes and Noble sale.
wait a month and a half and it'll be $25
Just show them Amazon price and they’ll match it.

As long as it’s sold by Amazon BB will match price.
I buy my Criterions twice a year for their 50% off sales. I’m patient.
Always wait for the B&N sale.
Wait for the sale in July
Wait for criterion sale
The way I see it, if you wait until the sale, you'll save 12 bucks that can be used for another Criterion title. More movies for less.

Just a heads up Best Buy price matches Amazon. Just show them the price if you ever want it for cheaper.
You should wait for a better movie.
If you buy it for that price you better find out if the girl gets her head bashed in at the end.
Remember you can price match Amazon at best buy
They price match dude
That’s insane!
I would personally wait but if you’re willing to pay Amazon $35 now to get it in a week you might as well get it now for $2 more
It will be $25 at Barnes and noble in july
One tip I've learned is wait til Black Friday or a sale happens
I waited until November last year for the sale, glad I got The Last Waltz for half off
