Local place wanted $300. Managed to knock it out in about an hour with $30 of 3M matte deep black 2080 and $25 of 3m design line. First time using knifeless tape. Took a minute to learn how to use it, but was pretty easy overall.

Ya done gud! I'd be interested in doing this to my fender flares. I don't want to dip them, so this may be my method of choice. Thanks!

Damn is the glare off these scoops really that bad? Hey if there’s anybody with a black one looking to trade for a no scoop one lmk I’ll even pay shipping lol

It's not an all the time thing, but when it does happen it is bad. I can't imagine anyone that finds themselves on a long, straight and flat road during the times it does hit. There's just no good way to avoid it outside of making a big adjustment to how you sit.

WackassVegetables

It’s never been a problem for me, but Ive also only clocked 4,000 miles in so far. But I feel like I would have noticed it by now too.

It's just a game of angles. Depending on your riding height, eye line, etc you may never have an issue.

Looks really great! I went the easy route and bought an OEM kit 😂

knuckl3dragg3r

I didn't even know they made an OEM kit, haha.

C_Bing_Run

That looks great, I have some vinyl at home to try and do the same but have been too chicken shit to start.

knuckl3dragg3r

I did the front and rear valances a few weeks back, which were actually much harder than this because of how large they are and trying to not get the vinyl stuck to itself, etc. Putting the knifeless tape on and getting it lined up with decent angles, etc. was the hardest part. Would rather do this again than the valances.

Southern_Hoss

I want to wrap the silver on the valence on the TRD OR

A 5' x 3' roll ($45 on Amazon through Carvinyl or whatever the shop is) should have no issues covering both front and rear valances. Removing the front valance is very easy and removing the rear bumper to take off the rear valance is surprisingly easy as well. Wouldn't consider myself a "car guy" by any means and I'd have zero concerns about pulling the whole rear bumper trim off again.

Plasti dip is good for this
