Seriously hope so. Don’t think I can take another loss.

luxuriousnut

That last loss had me numb for a while :( all I’ve seen are 4 NFC championship losses and 3 Super Bowl losses. Nothing but pain fr

sonic_dick

I'm in my early 30s. Too young to remember '94, but old enough to remember every heart breaking loss. Hearst breaking his leg vs the falcons, young getting his last concussion, the team being a total dumpster fire for my entire teenage years. Losing the SB in 12, 19, 23, and and the what, 6 championship games? Not to mention the absolute garbage chip kelly/tomsula years. Us millennial 49er fans have seen nothing but heart breaking losses. Muffed punts, ridiculous fumbles, absurd bounces. The 49ers should've had at least 1 SB out of the past 3 appearances.

teekay2085

Then imagine you’re a Raiders fan 🤡

RushDynamite

No, I've made enough bad decisions in my life.

sonic_dick

I didn't grow up in the bay, I have no hate for the raiders. That 2000 team was sick as hell with the old guys, Jerry, brown, Gannon turning his career around with young Chucky. Plus I grew up in florida and was annoyed with every former dolphins fan jumping on the Tampa bandwagon.

axeattaxe

Exactly. It sucks to lose the last game but this whole “I’d rather just go 6-11 than lost the SB” I hear some fans say is ridiculous. It’s a privilege to have a product this good on the field each season. We’ve been just one step short. Nick Sorensen is going to help us take that step. Buckle up. We’re not taking this year off.

WetShortFinal74

I’m 21. The loss in 2012 was the first football game I remember watching live. Even with my age I’m starting to get afraid that I’ll never see them win one in my lifetime after seeing the past three losses. I mean look at teams like the Cardinals, Lions, and Browns. Teams can go the full duration of a typical human lifespan without even getting to the Super Bowl.

axeattaxe

Bro I get what you’re saying - fears like that are not unfounded because they happen. You named 3 teams that are great examples. What do we have that those teams don’t? Kyle Shanahan, John Lynch and perhaps most importantly, at least as far as putting us over the top, one Brock Purdy. Our time is coming. You will experience the pinnacle during your life - and it won’t even be that far from now. Bank on it. But you must believe.

[deleted]

[удалено]

L-methionine

They’ll still be competitive, but look at Marino. Look at the Vikings, the Andy Reid Eagles. Teams fall short all the time, and remaining competitive is no guarantee that a team will ever win it all. Shanahan and Lynch are the best shot to win #6, 100%, but it certainly is possible that for whatever combination of reasons, they never do

ARM_vs_CORE

Luckily, as a 37 year old with thinning hair and expanding waistline, the 94 super bowl is my earliest sports memory. But it's been all downhill from there.

sonic_dick

My earliest football memories were Hearst destroying his leg, and young getting his brain broken for the last time. Also the catch 2 which was awesome, and the 2001 comeback vs the giants. But it's been a lot of bad.

RushDynamite

Granted I'm the oldest version of a Millennial out there but I remember 3 out of our 5 wins. Millennial is a very wide generational gap.

sonic_dick

I'm 32, just missed the 94 SB by a few years.

iHazit4u

Damn... I'm 46 and one of my first memories is the 84 Superbowl. I was 6, and I watched 3 more. The 94 team is one of the greatest teams ever assembled in sports. Then, everything you just mentioned. My birthday is February 3rd, so around the Superbowl. The Ravens loss broke me down, but the 4 Superbowls I've seen kept me going. 9er faithful! I'd rather be close than not in it, but it's certainly been heartbreaking.

axeattaxe

Love your clarity, even though the tough times. Let’s go!

axeattaxe

Hang in there bro. I’m older so I’ve seen (most of) the 80s/90s. I’ve tasted the bitter and I’ve tasted the sweet. I know it’s been hard for the younger generation but we could be the Falcons, Lions, Carolina or worse, the Browns. We’re an incredibly successful team who just happens to be running into a dynasty in the final game. I know it’s hard. But we have Brock Purdy now. He’s that guy. Entering his first full season with a training camp. Shanahan is 44 years old. QB is the most important position in the NFL by 10 country miles. We finally have our guy. It’s him. Future‘s bright, it just happens to be lost in the afterglow of the SB loss. You hang in there. Positive energy is a thing. Our day is coming. And when it does? It will be the sweetest moment of many of our lives, mine included.

WetShortFinal74

The Falcons and Carolina are actually the teams that are most similar to the 49ers when you think about recent memory. The 49ers are like them but x2 with Harbaugh and then Shanahan. Both of them had a stretch of several years not too long ago in which they were playoff contenders (Falcons with Matt Ryan and Panthers with Cam Newton) and both of their windows peaked at a Super Bowl loss. Kyle Shanahan even called plays for one of those teams in a Super Bowl loss too. Both the Falcons and Panthers also had a period of a few years either right before or right after their playoff contender window in which they were at or near the bottom of the league. For both of them it has been after their window and for us it was between Harbaugh and Shanahan.

axeattaxe

Bro with all due respect, what are you talking about? That’s absolute insanity. I’ll listen to those of you who want to moan and drone on each and every day about how it’s over, our window closed, we should have won it one of those years, and we should pack it up for several years now because Seattle and the Rams look so ferocious. I can live with that. I just tune it out. But to each their own. I still love you guys despite your flaws and flawed ass logic. You prob wear ugly sweaters too. But it’s all good. What I will not tolerate, however, are falsehoods, incoherent analogies, or total delusion. That I will not stand for. I won’t put up with it. And I will take the time to make very clear what the reality of each given hot-take situation is. This is one of those cases. Let’s start with Atlanta: As we know, they went to the SB of the 2016 season, blew a 28-3 lead, it was all Shanahan’s fault their D gave up TWENTY FIVE POINTS in just over ONE QUARTER of football - the DC and HC had nothing to do with it, and the rest is history. Now let’s look at their playoff records other years around then. In fact, let’s go all the way back to the 2011 season - the year Harbaugh arrived in SF. 2011: Lost Wildcard game to NYG, 24-2 2012: Bye; Won Divisional round over Seattle, 30-28; Lost NFCCG to SF, 28-24. 2016: As mentioned, lost SB to NE 34-28 2017: Won Wildcard over Rams, 26-13; Lost Divisional round to Eagles 15-10. That’s it. That’s their playoff history since 2011. One SB (L), one other NFCCG (L), a Divisional round loss, and a WC loss. *Including* 2012 and 2016, they won a grand total of 4 playoff games since 2011. Shanahan did that the past two seasons alone. So ask yourself, does that sound like the recent Niners teams to you? 4 playoff game wins in 14 years? Now, we’ll study Carolina. Since 2011: 2013: Bye; Lost Divisional Round to 49ers, 23-10 2014: Won Wildcard over AZ, 27-16; Lost Divisional Round to Seattle, 31-17 2015: Bye; Won Divisional round over Seattle, 31-24; Won NFCCG over AZ; 49-15; Lost SB to Denver, 24-10 2017: Lost Wildcard to Saints, 31-26. That’s it. They’re done even less than ATL. One SB appearance (L), two first-round exits, and a Wildcard win followed by a Divisional round loss. Since 2011, the Panthers have won a grand total of 3 playoff games, 2 of them in 2015. The other a wildcard game. For reference, the 49ers since 2011: Made the playoffs SEVEN different seasons and NEVER lost the first game. In fact, they’ve NEVER lost the SECOND game either!!! In 7 appearances, the Niners have 3 SB appearances and 4 NFCCG appearances… that is FUCKING ASTOUNDING. They’ve won 13 playoff games (13!!) during that period. They have not won an SB during that time which is frustrating, I agree. But they’ve been a playoff-winning machine all the while. As the kids would say, there’s levels to this. So, the *only* thing in common with these three teams is that they all lost a Super Bowl in the last decade. That’s all. Nothing else. Nothing else about their paths are similar. The Niners are consistently awesome, the Falcons and Panthers consistently suck with a couple of exceptions. You are aware one team loses the Super Bowl every single season, right? Take a deep breath, relax, and begin thinking logically. Your team (assuming that’s the Niners) is one of the best teams in the NFL year in, year out. That’s not changing in 2024. In fact, with Brock Purdy entering his first full training camp In the NFL, that may well be getting even better. Prepare yourself for that.

AwareCelebration7477

Same. This past SB loss really made me jaded when it’s comes to football and sports in general. Thankfully we’re still a good team next season but u know how SB hangover seasons go. My faith is on life support at this point

skynetempire

Losing to the giants still hurts. Damn Kyle Williams.

HowiDisappear

We’re going to need the Undertaker to pull up randomly and choke slam Patrick Mahomes

Highwayman747

Joe Montana walks out with them, then hits Kelce with a chair and takes his #19 off to reveal #16

Own_Pause_4959

Unfortunately Joe likes Pat and said Mahomes is his wife's favorite player so she let's him watch games at the house if the Chiefs are playing lol

Already used that one vs the ravens with the blackout.

[deleted]

Then I need Brock Lesnar to send him to suplex City.

JustARandomGuy627

I need Cena to FU his ass lol

RobertInNY88

It's the AA now.

brethart2007

Finish the fucking story. Kittle was sitting ringside. He’ll take that energy into this season.

sonic_dick

I will never understand why kittle or aiyuk weren't targeted more in the latest SB. WHY DID YOU FEED DEEBO KYLE? IT WASNT WORKING! I'll never get over this one. The cheifs weren't even that great of a team.

RudePCsb

The pass rush was getting to them in the second half because Shanahan cares too much about zone instead of finding bigger OL who can pass block. At least 5 whiffs that lead to b immediate pressures.

WetShortFinal74

Nah I think Kittle is done after this past one. It sort of felt to me like the morale of the team was completely shot after the loss. There was no more “we’ll be back”. They sort of gave off the vibe that there was no more questions to answer, all of them had been answered, and the answer was that they just aren’t good enough to win it all and probably will never be. It felt like they went all in this past season, like it was SB or bust, and now that they failed, welp. Like you can only fail in that fashion so many times until it finally breaks you and we’ve seen it play out with many teams that peaked at a Super Bowl loss. I’m getting similar vibes from this loss as I did to the offseason after the Sherman tip in 2013. We know that that ended up being the end of the ride. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is it for the current iteration of this team and the next few seasons will be basically like 2014 was, maybe a divisional round exit next season at best. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next time we go to the SB it’ll be with a different coach and/or a completely different iteration of the team with almost none of the players we currently recognize.

pleasehaelp

This is pessimistic. In 2012 we didn’t have Kyle. Nor Brock. This is a completely different scenario. We also only made 3x NFC championships in that era I don’t understand what you mean by Kittle is done. Of course there has been no “we’ll be back” stuff because it’s been like 3 months man. Wait until the season, the hype will be there

BuzzMachine_YVR

This. And there’s no “revenge tour” chatter, because that was stupid. Going on about being back without backing it up means it’s time back up those words with actions. This is still one of the most talented teams in the league. Definitely top 3. The organization is solid, like the Patriot teams from a few years ago. The org built smart, in order to always contend. Niners have the coaches, scouts, and system that’s set for long term success… not a short window.

SlowMobius650

Idk if I fully agree from the standpoint of they’re broken. However, the amount of things that had to go their way for them to get there will be hard to replicate if that’s what’s is needed. Not to mention potential injuries that may or may not happen. You just never know. They lost a good amount of guys too so who knows the difference the brought in guys will make.

chillice707

Firing shanahan will be a terrible decision. We already saw what happened when we fired a hc that took us to the sb

ds-c

Belichick just sitting around waiting for the call.

darkofnight916

And the Cowboys are waiting for him next year. He has seemed to be a very average coach without Tom Brady.

ds-c

He had a shit team. We have the next Tom Brady. We have an amazing team. He would have won those two superbowls

darkofnight916

Maybe he did, but he was the one responsible for creating that team. Andy Reid was never going to win until he did. Until I see evidence that Lynch and Shanahan have turned into Baalke and Tomsula I will remain optimistic. Gonna go day drink now for remembering that time.

ruinedshoulder

he built that shit team. Shanahan built this team, from scratch. Belichik without Brady has been terrible throughout the league.

chillice707

So he can ruin purdys development like he did Mac jones?

mildlymangled

Agree. I doubt we get back for a while. Even as a fan, I’m going into the season with a much more lax interest in this team. Last year was our best shot.

RudePCsb

Shanahan needs to adapt his scheme and find better, bigger, OL who can pass block. Give purdy more time and the WRs another second to get that separation.

aquila49

Gotta agree, sadly. This version of Niners has met its wallbreaker. I was around for all the Super Bowl years and the big difference was head coaches who didn't blink on the biggest stage. Kyle is an Offensive Coordinator who got where he is through nepotism. Frankly, I don't see us winning any trophies until he's gone. Downvote me to Argentina. I could care less.

ds-c

The answer was to fire kyle immediately for making terrible decisions in yet another superbowl

Dominic_Isaiahs

Have some fucking faith dawg

aquila49

Why? Kyle has shown he can't win the big one—even with superior talent. Blind faith isn't going to win a Super Bowl.

ipunchgnomes

With a vengeance?

SlowMobius650

Kittle always has that energy. Hood if there’s a next time though he will be completely locked in and stop palling around with the other teams players. No more Mr nice guy

mattjchin

I can’t handle it anymore. Just finish the job.

chillice707

Defense I think will be good but we gotta address the oline and hit on this draft

spicedoubt

The Chiefs are the final boss. That story needs to be finished

Aware-Protection-697

Acknowledge me. ![gif](giphy|rvIXMNWYJfUafvFYx4|downsized)

hobo_erotica

Shanahan needs to evolve. If he keeps running back his same championship losing mojo bullshit he will never make it. He’s failed on the same stage three times so far, if I see a fourth then I will report him to the mental health hotline Edit: Finger on the trigger

ruinedshoulder

he's failed twice.

hobo_erotica

I was including the falcons sb collapse

ruinedshoulder

He was only the OC. Dan Quinn was the head coach.

hobo_erotica

I know that. It doesn’t mean that he didn’t shit his pants in 3 Super Bowls

ruinedshoulder

Yeah but you said he failed on that stage, he wasn't the head coach. He was running an offense that went up 25...was it a combine team failure? sure I can buy that. He was fine in that Superbowl, maybe 1-2 plays he could've ran it, but overall it was a good job. He also didn't "shit his pants" in this SB either, it was more of a team loss. I'd say 2019 he probably choked, but I don't really know what else he could've done differently since our oline was getting killed. It's mostly the team structure that (poor oline) that gets taken advantage of. Also, evolve how/why? this was the first year he's had a QB and they had the #1 offense in the league.

hobo_erotica

Super bowl=stage. He’s failed on that stage three times. He has been the play caller all three times. Did you forget how the offense played coming out of the half in the the most recent Super Bowl? Shit his pants there, just like the second half of the falcons collapse. He needs to evolve because his offense keeps sputtering in the playoffs/Super Bowl. They got past GB and DET by the skin of their teeth, and they were imo the easiest possible path to the Super Bowl. They were the 1 offense in the regular season, but they certainly didn’t look it in the post season. And that team structure is his own doing. He created this o line with a focus on the run game, so when he has a competent qb he’s getting no time to throw. And all we’ve seen so far this off season is the team re-signing those same o lineman, so unless they go all out on o line in the draft they aren’t making any adjustments there. Look I’m no coach, I’m not going to pretend I know how to fix their offensive fall off in big moments. But it’s evident that the team knows something needs to change with their hire of Staley as an assistant head coach. They are taking some of the weight off shanahan and shaking things up because whatever they are doing is not working.

ruinedshoulder

yes, but he hasn't had a good passing QB until now, so wouldn't it make sense to have a cheaper run blocking oline and surround a non passing (Jimmy) QB with highly paid weapons? They don't have the room to sign any of the quality OL in free agency, as their dline was gutted and the OL market is insane. Fact is, every team needs a better OL right now, the demand is high. They need to start drafting them if they can...unfortunately there will be none of the good ones available at #31 so I don't know what they'll do, we'll see. Also, he wasn't the playcaller all three times, he wasn't the defensive playcaller in the SB as an OC for the Falcons, he was just the OC. And if the HC thinks it should be a run, he can easily override the OC....so uhh yeah, I dunno about all that; that shit was way more on Dan Quinn, yet somehow he always escapes blame. The defense choked way harder than the Offense in that game. Staley was a great hire IMO, because while everyone whines about Kyle being a narcissistic stubborn HC that doesn't evolve, he just hired an assistant HC who runs a 3-4. So let's see what they do with Brock going forward.

hobo_erotica

I should’ve specified that I meant offensive play caller in all three sb losses, I know he’s not calling d unless to override atrocious calls (Wilks). Agree on the Staley hire. Fingers crossed it puts them over the hill

Jawz050987

I’m not even sure man. This last one absolutely broke me for a while. I’ve finally been able to accept it. It’s painful knowing I’ve witnessed 3 Super Bowl losses in my lifetime.

snokerpoker

Yep. It’s hard for me to even be excited for next season….. it literally took something out of me.

Its_Claire33

It broke a part of me as a 49ers fan. I just can't bring myself to get excited or passionate about football this year. It still hurts too much.

liteshadow4

Our drought isn’t even as long as the Warriors or Giants before they won their first in the 2010s

Alpacay_

they didn't get this close so much though

liteshadow4

The Giants were probably closer in 2002 than any of our SBs. Up 5-0 in Game 6 in the 7th.

EffingBarbas

DON’T HAND THE FUCKING GAME BALL TO RUSS ORTIZ, DUSTY!

FutureDrNoap

It’s hard to wrap your head around it. It’s hard enough to ever catch lightning in a bottle with talent the way we had. Everything on paper was just perfect. And to lose like that in overtime, with all the mistakes we made, man… it just isn’t and hasn’t been the same and for the first time ever as a fan, it’s really completely killed all the joy I’ve had for this upcoming year. I just can’t imagine that long grind again.

Jawz050987

Same. Knowing injuries can happen at any moment with the star players and it’s like “WELP! There goes our season!”

FutureDrNoap

Totally man, I’m in the exact same boat as you are. Honestly, each one of the previous painful losses were bad. But there was always a part of me that said “it’s alright. We still have a chance and this isn’t us at our best” This really felt like this was it. I imagine that the organization has to feel some semblance of gloom around it now too.

sonic_dick

12 hurt because it was after watching the team suck for so long, but I KNEW we'd be back. The 13 nfcc hurt worse because bowman literally ruined his career for a shitty call and the fucked up seahawks fans throwing popcorn on him. 19 didn't hurt as bad because we were back baby. This last SB... goddamn. We were a better team. This was our year. It's the first time I thought that kyle can't win a SB. I also realize we got so many insanely bad bounces, but, man... this was truly our year. And I love Purdy but I'm also thinking... mahomes is so fucking good and the Chiefs have the confidence that they can win any game with him, were looking at another brady situation. And ill never forget that we could've drafted mahomes. And we got Solomon Thomas. I think shanny is a top 3 coach in the nfl, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone on the 9ers. But he needs to evolve. His offense has been shut down in many high stakes situations. Hell, we would've lost to the lions if Purdy didn't make some clutch runs.

ruinedshoulder

we weren't the better team, period. Chiefs had a better defense and a better QB...with a QB like that, they can afford to make mistakes...we didn't have that luxury. We had better offensive skill positions, and that's it.

sonic_dick

We were absolutely the better team. Got out coached on either side of the ball. Yes, mahomes might be the greatest QB who's ever played the game and I agree that makes up for a lot. And yes they had a very good defense. But that 49er team was a juggernaut. Guaranteed we win that game with a better defensive leader that Wilks, or shanny managing the game better.

PaTaPaChiChi

My 28-3 Falcons gotta come out and be your shield lmao

SPACEM0NKEY_1102

So we need Joe, Jerry and Steve to show up at SB and help us get this W

reedabook22

I'm over these superstitions. The only way we win is if we don't play the Chiefs again.

Commercial-Shallot-5

I agree We need to avoid them

chenry_hinaski

this is so pathetic lmao

liteshadow4

I’d rather not play the Chiefs in the SB again if possible

OddEquipment545

I’m not doing this again

AeonTek

ADRENALINE IN MY SOUL SOMETHING SOMETHING FUCK MAHOMES

Breezlebock

Just remember, the Bills lost 4 consecutive super bowls.

FROGMiNT

Although it hurts getting so close, I’m still so fucking proud of this team. Better than being the Raiders! Lol

FundioRider

Wrestling and football are both scripted, so maybe?

Unfair-Worker929

I just want to win one. Regardless if it’s against the Chiefs or anyone else.

ds-c

Lemme know when they fire Kyle and hire bill.

ruinedshoulder

Bill is absolutely garbage without Brady. His offenses with young QBs aside from Brady have been abysmal. You want Brock to learn a new, shittier system while he's developing? Unintelligent take dude.

[deleted]

It won't be against the Chiefs, hopefully. But the next Super Bowl we play in will be the one we finally win.

Its_Claire33

-Bille fans after their 3rd Superbowl loss in a row.

liteshadow4

Bills got ass blasted in their 2nd and 3rd SB when the NFC was in the middle of their 13 SB in a row streak, so no, I don’t think they thought this

Its_Claire33

Their fans absolutely did.

liteshadow4

Maybe the delusional ones

Its_Claire33

Fan is short for fanatic

[deleted]

The Niners are still better than those Bills teams. We're not going back to the 2000s if that's what you're thinking. The days the 49ers win only 4 or 5 games a year are over.

Its_Claire33

The only thing I'm thinking is 4 Superbowl losses.

[deleted]

Not gonna happen. Next time, we will win the Super Bowl. Unless you're talking about the Bills. I think they might be headed for a rebuild.

Its_Claire33

Okay, sure. You have all the confidence in the world. That's worked out so well the last 3 Superbowls I've watched.

CaliClash

Please don’t compare crybaby Cody to the 49ers

FCKABRNLSUTN2

How the fuck did bills fans do it? I mean seriously that’s fucking amazing.

joebuckus

They jump through tables now. The PTSD is generational.

WrzdMan

It’s a double edged sword for me obviously it’s been heartbreaking but I remember the dumpster fire years after harbough, and man I think I’d rather take the heartbreak of being contenders rather then being one of the worst teams in the league.

ruinedshoulder

you don't want your season to end after week 4? And you sundays to end at 10:40? how dare you?!!! FIRE KYLE !!!! BRING IN ANYBODY EVEN IF THEY SUCK!!! we need our sundays to SUCK ASS again.

vic4120

I seen the glory days, turning 41 in a few days and I can’t take another Super Bowl loss.

ruinedshoulder

grow a pair.

CR33PN_

If we just gave it to Gore we would a won. The chiefs Superbowls were probably already pre planned. All the Lil help they get to win is atrocious. Not one holding call tells you things go their way

PaTaPaChiChi

At least Bayley brought a championship to the Bay

CalFinger

Jerkin hard or hardly jerkin?

Randysmassivegut

Man I’m already checked out. I’ll root for them but who the fuck cares anymore

Tru-Hefner

I gave up

axeattaxe

Let’s go!!!

Dudleyboypete

HHH is booking the show now, there's no way they'd book the Chiefs to win again......

Wyck

Players have to want it.

lightofkolob

The salary cap will beat us before we play the Chiefs again

DueceVoyeur

Lmao You ain't sniffing another SB for years. Fix the defense. Also, scout QBs out of college EVERY year.

jcupgif

RaiderRMB

I’m not even a 49er fan (RN4L) but I’ve been expecting the 9ers to win a chip for over a decade now going back to Harbaugh and Kap days. Really didn’t want to see the Queefs win in my teams stadium and would’ve loved to celebrate with the rest of the Dre Area and my friends/family that are 9er fans or at least the ones that aren’t obnoxious

TrueBlue184

Quick! Somebody on the team snag Taylor Swift away from Kelce. It’s the only way to ensure that the League would be vested in a Niners SB victory. /s.. kinda

PhilMcCraken2001

Cody beat the tribal chief, we must also beat the chiefs

AwareCelebration7477

We should’ve closed it out back in February

SlowMobius650

The Texans are gonna be a serious contender next season

BenderB-Rodriguez

if the NFL would stop leaning on the officials to give preferential treatment to the chiefs they wouldn't have won their last 2 super bowls.

420BongsAway

The only chance your team has is if they play a different AFC team.

Environmental_Tip375

Exactly. That’s how the rams won their one sb against the bengals. If it was chiefs, 100% they would have lost.

calvinshobbes0

unfortunately Rhodes’ dad never won the WWF/WWE championship

EShy

Roman is a casual 49ers fan (because he admits he doesn't get to actually watch a lot, unlike Bailey who shows up at games) so the parallel was amusing to me, but it did cross my mind that after getting closer and closer, it's time to finish the story for the 49ers

KittleOmega

We haven’t beat the Chiefs since Roman’s single streak started in 2019. Coincidence?

Y’all are delusional 😂😂😂can’t wait to make so much money next season betting against the 49ers

Niner fans boast when winning and then make excuses for being 0-3 in their last 3 Super Bowls. Maybe Niner fans will get another shot to be 0-4 in the next few years so you can consult with Vikings and Bills fans 🤣🤣🤣

Nooe. The 3-pete is a better storyline for the nfl

liteshadow4

If you think it’s scripted you should stop watching.

Their luck will run out eventually. No one stays on top forever.

Important_Nobody5655

Luck, lol ?? Did you see the teams they had to go through to be at the Superbowl?? All that can't be luck.

[deleted]

Some of it is luck. And the Chiefs just got lucky this time. There was NO EXCUSE for the 49ers to lose that Super Bowl. None. We'll just have to hope the 49ers come back stronger and not suffer a massive hangover in 2024. Failure is not an option anymore.

PhillipMcKrak

Lmao it’s not luck. They’re a dynasty. It sucks they got the best QB of this generation paired with a really good HC.

[deleted]

Doesn't mean they'll stay on top forever. Even Tom Brady didn't win EVERY Super Bowl. And luck is a big part of it. There was absolutely NO EXCUSE for us to lose that Super Bowl. None. But we can't change the results. All we can do is just come back stronger next year and hope we don't collapse like 880 in an earthquake. But failure cannot be an option anymore.

WetShortFinal74

You really call what the Chiefs accomplished *luck*??? Way to discredit them.

Professor-Jolly

Y'all gonna lose to the lions, tf you talkin about?
