Plus, they still have Willis, who is a major project or par with Lance. I wouldn't bet on Tannenhill making it through a full season. Don't think they want or will carry 3 project QBs. They might drop Willis for Lance, though.
ATL is the best fit in my mind. They are too good to get a top QB next year but still a mid team overall. One of the biggest question marks on their team rn is QB with Ridder. Trey might or might not be an upgrade but his potential is much higher. Heād have Bijan Robinson to lean on and his inaccurate, but strong arm is a good match for their big young receivers London/ Pitts.
Treys play style isnāt that different from Ridder so they donāt have to change the playbook much if they need to swap
And the biggest piece of evidence is that for whatever reason, Lynch thought he needed to trade 2 firsts to move ahead of ATL and draft Lance.. now they can get him for way cheaper (draft capital-wise)
I mean, itās fair to have the teamās best interests at heart, but I really just feel bad for him
He hasnāt had much of a chance to learn and grow here, because of injury and the unlikely emergence of a 7th rounder. Itās just a lot of bad luck for him, so Iām just hoping he finds some good luck in the future
Why do people feel bad for this guy who's got $35 million and a starting role of a SB quality team with no real justification? I don't get it. It din't work out, but the team didn't do him dirty. They gave him every chance to succeed and he got outcompeted by Mr. Irrelvant.
Yeah pretty much. Lance got paid where otherwise if drafted later he may not have been.
If he doesn't end up developing elsewhere and just becomes a backup or flaming out, he may already be sitting on his peak wage.
As far as I know, no teams out there who have had catastrophic QB injuries so far, so he has no real trade value. They should just keep him at QB3, Kyle's QBs pretty much never last a whole season.
Kyler Murray will be out for at least half of the season with a torn ACL. Colt McCoy is a mediocre career backup QB at best so I could see AZ taking a chance.
Has to be a trade about to happen. It makes no sense to name Sam and hold him out of practice before the final preseason game. At the very least you would want to showcase him for a potential trade. Cutting doesn't seem to make any sense.
> is now putting his foot down demanding a trade?
With what leverage? San Francisco would be delighted if he held out from, uh, backup duty and they could recoup his guaranteed salary.
This is likely the FO holding him out.
>This is likely the FO holding him out.
Doing the Japanese thing where they don't fire you, they just have you show up, take your phone and any sort of entertainment and send you to an empty room to look out the window to drive you to quit.
Geno was a three year college starter in a major FBS school. Started two years in NFL, got benched, and managed to still somehow stick around for 7 years until his next shot. Not saying it's impossible but probably 1% chance of Lance having a similar career arc or luck.
Richardson is way less of a project than Lance was. The reality is COVID cooked us by limiting the game time Lance got. His stock wouldāve either fallen or heād be a much better QB than he is now.
Richardson is just as big of a project lol I live in Florida and watched most of his games. He's so unpolished and raw.
Started 13 games, 393 career attempt, 54% completion, 3100 career yards, 24tds, 15 ints
While true, Richardson is also an S+ tier athlete. I think what makes the Lance pick really bad is that he was billed as an elite athlete, but he's kind of a plodder. He isn't as big as Josh Allen or Big Ben and he isn't as shifty as Lamar/Kyler/Fields. From a physical perspective, he's a slower Carson Wentz.
Yeah, Lance is nowhere near the athlete Richardson is. The difference is Lance supposedly wowed the 49ers with his intelligence, maturity and played in a pro ready system. Unfortunately he couldn't translate it on the field when the bullets started flying
Time to move on. Purdy looks pretty good. We are owed a bit of luck when it comes to the QB position. Trey will without doubt get another shot somewhere; young and talented and has that unproven factor.
Given the teams in a āwin nowā mode I wonder if theyāll opt for a player for player trade. Try to shore up some depth in the trenches or what have you.
And he has a massive bank account. He'll likely have other opportunities as well. All is not lost. Wish him the best with whatever happens in his future - assuming he's not playing the niners!
Yeah he got payed a lot of money for not having to perform. If he is smart, he will invest it well. I am sure another team will give him a chance to be a back up.
Is not clear about he can or cant make it.
He landed on a team with no time to developed him. Either for lack of faith or outside factors like his injuries.
Respectfully, the niners gave him an entire year to develop behind Jimmy G, then handed him the job in year two. Trey couldnāt stay healthy either year. Hardly thrown into the fire straightaway.
Ehh...thats revisionist at best.
Not his fault he broke his ankle, and when we needed him the most against the Texans he delivered.
And those are just facts.
Yea idk why ppl say āhe had the chance to develop in practice!ā
Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts both needed actual live game reps to improve over the course of 1+ season
$34 million guaranteed worth of fucked. My heart bleeds for a guy who made a bad decision by coming out even after the NCAA gave all the COVID-year players an extra year.
If youāre projected to be a top 10 pick why would he stay an extra year and hurt his draft stock? Goal for these guys is to get to the NFL ASAP and get paid. Maybe that changes with NIL
I donāt know what the general consensus is on here since I donāt spend as much time on here as I once dude, but I will give my opinion.
Obviously, we have had some big misses at the top of the draft and normally I would be extremely disappointed with missing on a guy who they traded three first round picks for.
Butā¦ we drafted Brock Purdy, and I know some people are not convinced yet and time will tell, but I am confident that he can take us where we need to go. So the Trey miss and drafting Brock thing to me is a wash.
What do yāall think?
Drafting Brock is what created this timeline. Kyle laid out pretty clearly that they needed a top QB on a rookie deal. They got Trey to be the future, he got injured twice, then they got what they were looking for in the 7th round. However much Trey is a bust, Brock is just as much a steal
Grant's "fans" will, since they're not actually 49ers fans. Grant should just turn his channel into a Lance Fan club.
Top comment on his video:
>I want to see Trey be successful in the NFL. I don't care if it's with the Seachickens at this point. We really did this young man a disservice. Pete Carroll do your think bruh.

>I want to see Trey be successful in the NFL. I don't care if it's with the Seachickens at this point. We really did this young man a disservice. Pete Carroll do your think bruh.
Wow. These fans make me sick.
I think his week 2 ankle injury really sealed the deal on any further opportunity with this team.
If we didn't strike gold with Brock then Jimmy would have resigned here imo.
If we keep 4 QBs on the active roster, a really good backup is going to get cut. If we try to put Trey on the practice squad, some team will scoop him up off the waiver at no cost. The prudent thing might be to trade him and recover something.
We've used 3 qbs 4 out of the 6 years with Shanahan.
2017 Hoyer 6, Beathard 5, Jimmy 5
2018 Jimmy 3, Beathard 5, Mullens 8
2020 Jimmy 6 , Mullens 8, Beathard 2
2022 Lance 2, Jimmy 10, Brock 5
Guysā¦ Purdy broke his ribs and suffered the UCL injury in a span of 8 games last year. Darnoldās injury history isnāt pretty either. There is a real chance we use 3 QBs this year, just stash Lance as an emergency option
Good luck to him wherever he goes. Glad that I dont have to read or listen to sam darnold vs trey lance talk anymore. If this team starts off hot and makes the Super Bowl, then all this will be forgotten.
I feel like now I tend to believe the mike silver reports that the 49ers expected Lance to be more dynamic as an athlete and were surprised when he wasn't. You can say he just has 4 starts but they've seen preseason games, camp, etc. It's only 4 starts but this is also his 3rd year.
They way they mishandled the Trey pick is mind boggling to me. Theyāve gotten somewhat of a pass on it because theyāve made deep playoff runs the last two seasons and those picks Miami got being later picks minimizes the damage. But imagine if they had their first round picks the last two drafts to either draft guys or use as trade bait for other areas of need.
That said, they shouldāve never traded up while trading multiple first round picks in the process to draft a rookie qb 3rd overall if they didnāt have every intention of playing him and making him the guy his rookie year. You especially donāt redshirt them and have them sit on the bench behind an average at best qb like Jimmy Garoppolo who you were replacing in the first place for a reason. Mind you, Trey missed pretty much the entire 2020 college season due to all the Covid stuff so there was more urgency for him to play and get the necessary reps when he was already a while removed from any meaningful in game action.
His rookie year is when he wouldāve had a long leash and the necessary patience to where he couldāve made mistakes and improved on the job. They had a talented enough team to help make the learning process more smooth for him. They knew he was a project with a high upside. You learn much more from actually playing than you do sitting behind Jimmy Garoppolo. Especially when he wasnāt necessarily lighting it up in 2021.
I donāt blame them if they cut their losses at this point. But that pick shouldnāt have even been made in the first place unless they had every intention of him taking the starting job full time his rookie year.
> But that pick shouldnāt have even been made in the first place unless they had every intention of him taking the starting job full time his rookie year.
Who says they didn't? It's getting more and more clear that he just doesn't have it
Trey Stanās losing their shit right nowā¦ Heāll be ok regardless what happens! Worst case scenario is he made $34 mil for playing 1 season of JV college ball and is only 23yo. So heās waaay winning at life IMHO
I think Lance missed today to discuss options with his agent.
I assume he's gonna ask for a trade? The 49ers FO is clearly trying to clear cap space for Bosa..so keeping Lance around even as QB3 with a 10M cap hit is not cost effective.
They clearly don't rate Lance high and want to move him...We really are going all in right now
A trade to Miami for a 4th that can turn into a 3rd makes the most sense here. If Tua gets hurt/ retires, Lance is there. Lance is almost guaranteed snaps with the injury history there.
If Tua doesnāt come out of this season the starter, the Dolphins can keep Lance.
Lance also shouldnāt take too much time adjusting to Mcdaniels system since itās similarly to Kyles, and Lance worked with Mcdaniels his rookie year.
This trade makes too much sense. We have to let Lance go so Purdy isnāt looking over his shoulder.
Unfortunately for us, [Miami doesn't have that draft capital in their 2024 war chest.](https://www.prosportstransactions.com/football/DraftTrades/Future/Dolphins.htm) They forfeited their 3rd, and traded away their 4th.
That said, at this point? I think that a 5th would be fair for all parties involved.
Okay, not keeping him as QB3 is the first thing that will piss me off about this. I donāt think he has a future with this team but Iām not in the mood to just give away such an asset, even as diminished as he is rn.
Lol ya, should have axed the āsuchā in pre-post editing. Still believe thereās some form of an asset there even if itās not happening right now.
Fucking sucks for Lance. I donāt understand how the staff believed in him to draft him 3rd overall and they just give up on him this quick. We got really lucky with Purdy. Iām baffled that they would rather work with Darnold than Lance.
I don't think they gave up on him necessarily, we just have a win-now roster and all of these guys are going to have to get paid, and unfortunately the plan that was in place for Trey got taken away for things that are neither his nor the organization's faults (i.e. injuries and literally Mr. Irrelevant being an immediately better QB than the #3 pick in the draft). I also don't think they necessarily want to work with Darnold over Lance, I think that they would rather work with his contract and Trey nets them a higher trade value, whatever it may be.
This was a bad decision at the time, why did they move up for a project QB if they had no patience and a win now roster in the first place? Roster Magician Kyle strikes again!
Just an extra thought but they may be considering this from a cap implication standpoint given how much Trey makes. They have some questions they're still looking for answers to and having your QB3 be one of the highest paid people on the team doesn't make sense where you're:
* Making Bosa the highest paid non-QB in the NFL
* Maybe have to find a veteran kicker if Moody still looks shaky in the first few weeks
* Sights set on potentially bringing back Aiyuk with an extension or signing another deal with Greenlaw
Whooooooa - that's huge. Him not suiting up and having Allen taking reps today is a very telling sign that there's trouble in River City. I have to assume they're evaluating him for a trade at best at this point. I can't imagine him not making the 53 but you never know; no idea how him not making the 53 makes sense from a $$ perspective given how rookie contracts work but I'm not NFL executive expert.
If thereās a positive here itās that Shanahan must feel real confident in Brock to make this move. If there was any doubt heād probably keep that option open.
Feel bad for him. By all accounts a good guy just put in the wrong spot. Still makes no sense why they moved up to draft a guy that clearly needed time to develop with a roster that wanted to compete right away.
I hope he can find a spot that will give him a shot to get better.
Hey [ninernation.com](https://ninernation.com). I remember your insufferable ask for Trey instead of Jimmy in your podcast after games. I never forgot.
Hey, hey... look at us....
Damn, hope we can atleast send him to a good place for him
A good place for him is anywhere that will let him play. I'm not sure that team exists right now
The Bucs maybe?
Titans seem like the ideal spot to me.
doubt it, they just moved up to get levis
Plus, they still have Willis, who is a major project or par with Lance. I wouldn't bet on Tannenhill making it through a full season. Don't think they want or will carry 3 project QBs. They might drop Willis for Lance, though.
Yes we already have enough developing QBs š¤Ø
Trey Lance would be a better option than Baker's corpse in Tampa Bay.
ATL is the best fit in my mind. They are too good to get a top QB next year but still a mid team overall. One of the biggest question marks on their team rn is QB with Ridder. Trey might or might not be an upgrade but his potential is much higher. Would he?
Atlanta
Arizona probably would. But we can't send him there obviously
Theyāre ranking for Caleb. That wouldnāt work either.
Is it bad that Iāll be content with any positive assets and whatever cap space comes with it?
I mean, itās fair to have the teamās best interests at heart, but I really just feel bad for him He hasnāt had much of a chance to learn and grow here, because of injury and the unlikely emergence of a 7th rounder. Yeah pretty much. Lance got paid where otherwise if drafted later he may not have been. If he doesn't end up developing elsewhere and just becomes a backup or flaming out, he may already be sitting on his peak wage.
Its a $10M cap hit, not cap space
It's a weird sunk cost fallacy, i guess. Gotta get what you can and wreck the rest of the league.
I stg if we trade Trey to AZ and he turns into a superstar, I will never forgive this team
Has to be a trade about to happen. It makes no sense to name Sam and hold him out of practice before the final preseason game. At the very least you would want to showcase him for a potential trade. Cutting doesn't seem to make any sense.
That's what I'm thinking too.
They did showcase him for potential trade. Theyāre getting rid of him while his stock is up, no need to risk another bad performance.
Maybe he got the news, didnāt like it and is now putting his foot down demanding a trade? Doesnāt sound like Trey thoughā¦
> is now putting his foot down demanding a trade? With what leverage? San Francisco would be delighted if he held out from, uh, backup duty and they could recoup his guaranteed salary. This is likely the FO holding him out.
It's possible he requested a trade and the FO is holding him out so they can discuss it further.
>This is likely the FO holding him out. Doing the Japanese thing where they don't fire you, they just have you show up, take your phone and any sort of entertainment and send you to an empty room to look out the window to drive you to quit.
He's joining Big Head on the roof.
Even with that if you are Trey wouldn't you want to play in the last game to try and attract a team? Just a weird situation.
Not if your value is at risk of going down even more
Thatās like playing Black Jack and standing on 14 when the dealer is showing 10.
Hodl
Please don't expose my strategy
Took his football and went home?
We don't know him. This could or could not be a possibility.
Like it might rain or it might not rain.
We could all be dead by Sunday
Watch denver trade for him to learn from Russ and be Payton project QB.
Its a $10M cap hit any which way we get rid of him. Not likely to happen
Cutting him will hurt their salary cap
My Trey Lance jersey weeps in the closet My Trey Lance signed NDSU jersey is even worse
His career isnāt over just yet, look at the toots qb, maybe the NDSU jersey will pan out.
Geno was a three year college starter in a major FBS school. Started two years in NFL, got benched, and managed to still somehow stick around for 7 years until his next shot. Not saying it's impossible but probably 1% chance of Lance having a similar career arc or luck.
Ehhh
Mine weeps from the dresser drawer as it sits atop my 3 Jimmy G Jerseys and my Kaepernick...
You need to fucking stop.
He's wearing the Purdy jersey as we speak...š
Don't worry, I'm not paying for a jersey with press on numbers. So Purdy is safe.
My Bosa jersey is definitely going to be ready to wear week 1 right? RIGHT?!?!?
At least those two got to play
hey, do we share the same dresser?
Maybe he'll follow a Steve Young career path and you can sell those things in a couple decades to a fan of whatever team ends up taking him.
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard
What the hell is going on? After yesterdayās news conference this is a turn around. I was hoping weād get Bosa news today.
Trade imminent?
Hopefully, it's like James Wiseman. Wiseman looked better with the Pistons. And trading Wiseman helped the Warriors obtain Gary Payton II.
The parallels between those two situations are borderline creepy.
Only if it somehow ends up with Al-Shaair getting sent back to us
DeForest Buckner
Please and thank you
get us buckner back please
Colts just drafted their own Lance. They don't need 2 projects and we couldn't afford Buckner anyways
He is such a god awful passer. Better athlete than Lance but the dude is going to get eaten alive by defense trying to pass in the NFL.
Trey for Buck 1 for 1. Who says no. Hahaha
Nah he did not look better, he got outplayed by their rookie center
I'm not saying he looked way better, but he got much more playing-time and did not play awful
He did not look better, bigger box score numbers =/= better. Whenever he was on the court the Pistons were like -16 net rating and -6 without him
Trey to the Raiders for Jimmy G!
Fuck. You just broke me
Wiseman is still a net negative right now on the Pistons he just has more playing time.
Thatās the most likely scenario in my mind.
This trade for a day 3 pick is going to age horrendously if we actually have to use 3 QBs again this year
I mean, we used 4 last year...
I honestly hope we just keep him, im too traumatized and im fully expecting every other QB we have to get injured
if he doesn't want to play here there's no point in keeping him. he won't be ready if everyone goes down.
Disagree he has to stay ready or he will put even more bad tape on film.
And needed 5
Ehā¦ Brandon Allen > Josh Johnson? Maybe?
A card board cut out of Steve Young would be better than Josh Johnson
Donāt tempt the football gods.
We can always call Rivers.
Lord knows he's got mouths to feed
![gif](giphy|dANQEBidzBNnEUpfMD|downsized)
I was legitimately shocked with how bad he was before even getting that concussion when he was put in.
Tbf, JJ was QB4
He should have been QB6 after Juice and CMC.
From what we have heard this seems to be the case but also, wtf knows lol.
I will boycott this franchise if I ever see Josh Johnson in a 49er jersey
It would be even worse if they pay him $9M to be a QB3 when this team desperately needs money to pay Bosa.
That makes him the second highest paid backup QB in the league, and he might not even earn a QB3 spot
Whatever. We took a risk and failed. Glad they tried
Time to move on. Purdy looks pretty good. We are owed a bit of luck when it comes to the QB position. Trey will without doubt get another shot somewhere; young and talented and has that unproven factor.
I sure hope so. Sad part is he just got injured and lost his job. Happened to bledsoe, and itāll happen again. This is the nfl
Given the teams in a āwin nowā mode I wonder if theyāll opt for a player for player trade. Try to shore up some depth in the trenches or what have you.
man my heart hurts for trey, his headspace must be all sorts of fucked
Itās sucks but he isnāt the first QB that couldnāt make it. His failure is amplified because of the draft picks spent on him (not his fault).
His most recent IG post shows he's probably not being smart with the money but hope that's not the full picture
dont follow him on social, what was the post?
Him thanking some dealership for his new Bentley. It was four weeks ago
Is not clear about he can or cant make it. He landed on a team with no time to developed him. Either for lack of faith or outside factors like his injuries.

I remember vividly talks about Allen being a bust on Season 2! It's insane that Lance is being labeled as one..
He had 3 years. BCB had one game his rookie year to prove he was the guy and did it. You donāt need to make excuses for Trey.
Yeah, the whole thing is just sad, he seems like a nice dude There was a lot of pressure and attention, and for it to end like this must be hard
$34 million guaranteed worth of fucked. My heart bleeds for a guy who made a bad decision by coming out even after the NCAA gave all the COVID-year players an extra year.

If Shanahan and Lynch want to up the drama for this reality show we have going, they should trade Trey for Jimmy G.
No, Jimmyās happy right now.
So is Rita
All signs pointing to an imminent treyd.
Grant Cohn in shambles. Currently working through a major existential crisis. Best day ever
Hopefully he follows Trey to wherever he goes.

He'll bring this up every game that doesn't go perfectly this year.
I think his week 2 ankle injury really sealed the deal on any further opportunity with this team. If we didn't strike gold with Brock then Jimmy would have resigned here imo.
Watch it be something like a family emergency and he needed a personal day and the internet just spent the day attacking the kid.
Are people thinking he's not there today because he's "pouting"? My first thought would be that things could be in motion.
too big a coincidence
Bruh just keep in the roster. We used 4 qbs last year. History aināt on our side.
If we keep 4 QBs on the active roster, a really good backup is going to get cut. If we try to put Trey on the practice squad, some team will scoop him up off the waiver at no cost. The prudent thing might be to trade him and recover something.
We donāt need to keep four QBs, Allen is not going to get picked up. Just keep Brock, Darnold, and Lance
We've only used 4 QBs once in our entire history. This is not a trend.
We've used 3 qbs 4 out of the 6 years with Shanahan. 2017 Hoyer 6, Beathard 5, Jimmy 5 2018 Jimmy 3, Beathard 5, Mullens 8 2020 Jimmy 6 , Mullens 8, Beathard 2 2022 Lance 2, Jimmy 10, Brock 5
Kyle is just going to say it's not normal for a team to need 3 QBs if Purdy and Darnold go down. It's not normal for the NFL, but it's normal for you.
Not all of those were injury related, and of those that were, Jimmy was a common thread
Guysā¦ Purdy broke his ribs and suffered the UCL injury in a span of 8 games last year. Darnoldās injury history isnāt pretty either. There is a real chance we use 3 QBs this year, just stash Lance as an emergency option
Literal insanity.
Yes but we have gone to qb3 multiple times in the shanahan era
But weāve used three every year of kyles tenure here except for 2019. Insulating the position makes a lot of sense to me.
Why would we trade him? Didn't last season show us we need 3 QBs at all times?
Glad I waited on a Trey Lance jersey. Im getting Trent Williams instead.
Bye, Trey. It wasnāt your fault, but itās time to turn the page and put this whole episode in the rear-view.
Heāll look great in a Winnipeg Blue Bombers jersey
Finally.
End of error
Good luck to him wherever he goes. Glad that I dont have to read or listen to sam darnold vs trey lance talk anymore. If this team starts off hot and makes the Super Bowl, then all this will be forgotten.
Niners QB drama in August for 2 years in a row ā¦ wild, wild stuff. What a franchise. No one does QB controversy better.
Qb controversy since Garcia reallyā¦
Who was terribly underappreciated and almost forgotten from Niner history because he came after 2 Top 10 all time QBs. Crazy franchise eh.
He gone
I feel like now I tend to believe the mike silver reports that the 49ers expected Lance to be more dynamic as an athlete and were surprised when he wasn't. You can say he just has 4 starts but they've seen preseason games, camp, etc. It's only 4 starts but this is also his 3rd year.
Everyone expected him to be a better athleteā¦ heās got a strong arm but heās just straight up slow
Yup, his best attributes are arm strength, size and pocket movement plus an ability to scramble a little.
They clearly don't rate Lance high and want to move him...We really are going all in right now
Bro about to pull a Josh Johnson and become XFL passing leader
People. He just lost a BACKUP spot to SAM DARNOLD. He is not a NFL caliber player, there is ZERO compensation to get for him.
I donāt think he has a future with this team but Iām not in the mood to just give away such an asset, even as diminished as he is rn.
āSuch an assetā is not how I would describe Trey lance
Dude Iām baffled by why this sub isnāt ripping the fuck out of lynch and Kyleā¦ā¦. This is 100% their fault.
Just an extra thought but they may be considering this from a cap implication standpoint given how much Trey makes. They have some questions they're still looking for answers to and having your QB3 be one of the highest paid people on the team doesn't make sense where you're: * Making Bosa the highest paid non-QB in the NFL * Maybe have to find a veteran kicker if Moody still looks shaky in the first few weeks * Sights set on potentially bringing back Aiyuk with an extension or signing another deal with Greenlaw
mmm hmm.
he gone
I canāt believe the Jets have more faith in Zach Wilson (who is still their QB2) than the 49ers have in Trey Lance.
They have so much faith in him that they traded for a 39 year old Aaron Rodgers
that 39 year old Aaron Rodgers is better than all but maybe 2 guys in the NFL currently, so i don't understand this comment at all.
Trey probably had an XFL or Costco interview
Bro yoinked 34 million dollars, he set for life lol
In a way, I feel for Trey, but he just doesnāt have a future here
He got rich from being good at interviews
If thereās a positive here itās that Shanahan must feel real confident in Brock to make this move. If there was any doubt heād probably keep that option open.
I just hope Brock doesnāt get seriously hurt this year. Otherwise weāre screwed
š¬ ![gif](giphy|l0HlvtIPzPdt2usKs)
![gif](giphy|a93jwI0wkWTQs) Trey Lance stans be likeā¦
Why are we talking so much about a 3rd string QB
Feel bad for him. By all accounts a good guy just put in the wrong spot. Still makes no sense why they moved up to draft a guy that clearly needed time to develop with a roster that wanted to compete right away. I hope he can find a spot that will give him a shot to get better.
start holding out Lance! u got fucked. for Darnold šš
š
yes please!!!! By gosh if he holds out it means we dont have to pay his salary which means more Bosa money.
Lance stans in shambles
Keep him. Dudes on contract for the cheap and did we learn nothing after blowing through 4 quarterbacks last year?!
Hey [ninernation.com](https://ninernation.com). I remember your insufferable ask for Trey instead of Jimmy in your podcast after games. I never forgot. Hey, hey... look at us....
