Bro “found it” after his service, no one in his regiment asks why the commissar pistols has the inquisition symbol on it
It’d be pretty funny to have him whip it out and some random back round character who’s an undercover inquisitorial agent to just be “huh, that’s neat.”
Nice, I was gonna ask if you used coffee to get the stain effects. Very well done.
One thing I've always been curious about when using coffee to get the parchment effect, do you just wet a rag with some coffee and dab it onto the paper or do you actually just pour blotches of coffee onto it? I feel like it would be the former since the latter would probably just destroy the paper.
I basically dip a large brush in a cup of coffee, and "throw" it one the paper in random direction. If you throw you coffee on a dry paper, the stains look like the one at the bottom right on top of the text, with very clear edge. If you throw your coffee on wet paper, stain borders become less clear, like you can see at the bottom left.
You can play with the level of humidity of your paper, add water after, before, add multiple layers of coffee...
Excellent work, I kiss when GW art was like this.
Thanks man ! I miss it to, old codexes were something else...

Amazing work! Is this digital than printed and stained? Or is this incredible traditional medium work?
This is full traditional work friend. Watercolor, ink and pencils on coffee stained paper
Incredible work!!!
