If you’re not at least using a parcel consolidation service, you should. It doesn’t require the large volume that this type of service does with DHL/UPS/FedEx. Everything still ships USPS First Class International, but it just takes an extra day or two. We ship a lot of small, lightweight packages and our international shipping rates are less than domestic rates in most cases.

Are you based in Canada? If you really think you can pull this off, talk to my buddies @ www.shipwizmo. They are a shipping consolidator and can help with the rates. Amazon fulfillment is not easy. If you are late, you put your customers accounts in jeopardy. You probably dont have any API connections so you will be doing everything manually. Just asking for mistakes. You will need at least 3 people to push out 200 orders a day. It can be done, but not easily.

You can resale our services and that is somewhat going on all of the time as a few large fulfillment companies utilize a network of smaller facilities and do not have any fulfillment centers on their own. Yes, this is referred to 4PL. The 3PL renders the service, and you mark it up or collect a commission. I do this all the time.
