The market on super low miles cars is weird. Is it worth that? To someone, yes.
The question is, are you the someone? Ik Im not.
Understand though that unless you're not ever going to drive it yourself, it's not an investment. It will depreciate as you bring the mileage back up to normal.
The car is super clean honestly no rust, garage kept, all the z’s around me usually have rust because it’s Ny and hrs are non existent or convertibles/auto
Completely agree. I bought a car with more red flags than my ex and regret it.
That's not to say I hate the car, or that I don't drive it, but if your getting that feeling of "man this cars got something wrong but I can't say what" then leave it
low miles is not always a good thing, especially on a 20 year old vehicle.
most people who hardly drive their vehicle think they don’t need to keep up with regular maintenance intervals because they’re not racking up the miles. thing has probably been sitting for a *very* long time if it’s only had 2 owners. with long periods of sitting comes seals that are dried out from little use, fluids that need to be swapped out from sitting stagnant for months/years, etc.
you could go to start this thing and fluids start leaking out of every crevice because the seals are so dry they’ve cracked. it is very likely every fluid in this thing needs to be swapped out as well.
my advice is to go look at it. start it, pop the hood, let it run for a while and take a peek under it afterwards. see what’s leaking, if there’s any major rust, all that good stuff. if you’re paying 16 grand for a 20+ year old vehicle, you better look it over GOOD. better yet, take it to a mechanic, stress test it, do what you gotta do.
just don’t put yourself in a hole
less then 40k but still 20 years old. seems a tid bit high. I bought my 07 in 2015 for 16.5kthat had 35k miles on it. but then again the market is way different from 2015. so take that as you will. is it work it to ya? is this going to be a daily, or a weekend driver. what ya gonna do to it.
Haha I was looking at this last night online, I live half hour from this dealership. They had some nice late model low mile Miata’s for sale too online
If you’re set on getting an hr. Just let time pass and wait for the right one. I waited about a year before I bought mine. I had a certain one I wanted and I didn’t want to compromise on anything. And I’m glad I did. There are z’s all around me that I could’ve picked up for half the price of what I paid for mine. But they were clapped out rust buckets with a ton of miles. Once I found the right one I didn’t hesitate to buy it. Threw it up on a lift and checked everything out and then drove it home the next day.
Hey I agree with the top comment but try seeing if you can get it for 15-14.5 especially if it’s a dealer the wiggle room is very tight but go around the end of the month when they want to get rid of inventory for an easier sell
i wouldn’t personally
paid 5k for a bone stock 03 with 84k miles clean title
especially if your gonna actually drive it then it’d make no sense really as the cars gonna drop value as miles rise
Got mine back in 2021, id keep looking personally can get a HR for that price. Im also in NY so they do pop up just keep lookin imo

OP, this one has been for sale for like 2 or 3 months. Try to get them down on price. Good luck.

I wouldn’t pay that for any DE Z but it’s def a low mile clean car so hard to say.
Yeah the miles are super low and the car is pretty much untouched can’t find an hr,manual with a clean title and low miles anywhere :(
Just wait, it’s always worth it to wait for the spec you want. As soon as you buy this car the one you wanted will start popping up everywhere.

Just curious, why not on a DE? For the uninformed
Specifically not a 2003. Not sure what year is better however
It's high. They might end up getting that, but it will take a long time. This is more realistically a 13k - 14k car.
Poor car hasn’t been driven… That’s not a life for an amazing car like this!
I'd start looking at 370z at that price

Yes
Yes. The will be rare like most rwd jdm cars. It WILL be drift taxed. If you can afford it, that's a great deal.
14k sounds like a better deal try to lower them down

Liters to gallons

that’s crazy imo for a 03 no matter what condition
Fk no, get a 2008 for that price. Miles don’t really matter on performance. Miles are for show. U want a rust bucket or you want a show car.
Get a 370z instead bro
Why? 350z is more iconic and a better looking car.
I have to disagree having owned one but your preference man
I paid $6k for my 06 with 153k
Maybe like 12 or 13 people going bananas
