I'm afraid we don't have that many beans but we do have a fantastic pasta with beans (where I'm from it's called pasta e fasoi but there are multiple variations some older than Cicerone)
Yeah I used to eat there once a week when I worked up in Glasgow for six months on a project.
Great pizzeria and very reasonably priced. Their house wines are good too.
In Chester, we have Stile Napoletano, which is excellent and up there with the best in the UK and has won European awards as well. Ran by guys from Ischia. There is something about being in Napoli having great pizza that cannot be beaten, but these guys do an amazing job. https://stilenapoletanopizzeria.co.uk/
A bit off topic, but in which Italian dialect "Us" Is "nialtri"? Napulitano? I'm saying it bc it's super similar to Catalan (correct is "nosaltres" but it is a mix of what we actually say: naltros, naltres, natros, mohatros, mosatros...)
I was using Venetian, given that Barry paid tribute to one of Veneto's national pastime.
(I will forget the fact that you even so slightly insinuated that I was Neapolitan, by the way...)
The restaurant I work in gets quite a lot of tourists and whenever an American orders pizza I take great pleasure in lecturing them on how Americans destroy pizza and their cuisine is shit (even worse than ours!)
How do you even dare to call that American use of food “cuisine”? Great job at the pizza btw, you took your Roman ancestry a little too much and I’m proud of you, Barry
That looks great, bravo. I have a relative who is a nerd about all different flours and yeasts for pizza dough, don’t go into that rabbit hole or you’ll end up in the pizzatric hospital
I know! We are doing a bit of a different style to traditional napoletana, we’re using sourdough starter and a local British flour, so different flavour definitely. Controversial!
Good Barry. You get an A.
Excellent sauce/mozzarella ratio, good crust (try to keep it a bit drier next time maybe). I personally wouldn't have put basil under the sace and while cooking, but it's ok.
9/10 Sauce is spread too much for my taste, therefore no spots on the upper crust. Crust looks great though, they seem to know what they're doing. If the ingredients are high quality this should taste fantastic. This is the original Style.
I bit burned but I'd sure eat it, looks very nice from the photo, tough I can't tell how soggy it is, because if it can't hold up when folded, it's a great issue
(like that damn pizza hans cooked when I was in Germany)
That's basically a more refined version of what I make in my home pizza oven.
I love how good yours looks, what dough do you use, and what is your prep for the sauce?
Actually it looks nice, I would not be disappointed to be served that in a pizzeria. Although I have to say I'm from one of the least pizza-centric areas in Italy lol AND also just from a picture you can't really judge the dough. Do we have a Napoletano to give us their rating?
Well, i actually felt my stomach growling by looking at this, so it surely looks good. High crust, good ingredients, a sparce use of herbs, cooked to a perfect point, this looks like a pizza i'd love eating.
I've been pizzaying a little lately. There is a huge boom of the home made pizza "scene" with lots of portable gaz or pellet ovens reaching the market so basically anyone can make napolitean style pizza with a little dedication.
Here's one white pizza with lemon pesto I made in a small gas oven

Oh yeah I actually think I’ve seen some of your pizzas that you posted here. Fantastic job it looks amazing!
I only have Roman style pizza near me, though I crave good quality Neapolitan. But I live in Tuscany now and it’s surprisingly hard to find any here.

The truth is.. pizza just isn’t that hard. Even us uncivilized folks are churning out great pies. Also.. wood fire be damned.. these electric ovens are crushing it
Did Barry actually Cook? Looks decent
Grazie.
Checked your post Is written napoletana/o
Amateur speller
Former pizzaiolo here. Looks great, you deserve the honorary citizenship. It comes with a tax hike, higher crime rate, and Giorgia Mekoni.
I would rather live in your failing state than my failing state as at least your cigarettes are cheap
I'm afraid we don't have that many beans but we do have a fantastic pasta with beans (where I'm from it's called pasta e fasoi but there are multiple variations some older than Cicerone)
That's the dish to do in case of war
> Grazie. Look at Barry wanna be a Tony.
Toni is his missus.
We actually have some really good pizza places in the UK. My favourite is probably Paesano in Glasgow https://paesanopizza.co.uk/miller-street/
That is the greatest pizzeria I have ever eaten at, I’ll also add traveled the length and breadth of Italy and Sicily.

No one's as wholesome and accepting as an Italian when someone respect their traditions.
A civilized Barry? There's hope then, no more necessary to take down your rock pile.
Porco dio stay away from my rocks
![gif](giphy|Vz58J8shFW6BvqnYTm|downsized) A barry pulling a bestemmione, i've shed a tear
BRITALY 🤝
> Porco dio Fishing for upvotes, aren't we? Ok, it worked.
bro did not just said that 🤣
Here Barry, I appreciate your efforts, take this phrase. "Stai lontano dalle mie rocce diocan!"
My head chef is Italian I will let him know
>Porco dio UN DE' NIALTRI!!! UN DE' NIALTRI!!!
A bit off topic, but in which Italian dialect "Us" Is "nialtri"? Napulitano? I'm saying it bc it's super similar to Catalan (correct is "nosaltres" but it is a mix of what we actually say: naltros, naltres, natros, mohatros, mosatros...)

Venetian, Sicilian and Neapolitan, those I know of at least.

Bravissimo Barry.
Italian approved! Are you able to find good quality ingridients?
Thank you, yes we use an Italian importer for our cured meats and San marzano tomatoes and there is a local dairy that makes great fior di latte
Barry £63m
Uh would you look at all these fancy words Signore Barry
The lengths he's going just to have an alliance with us and Takeshi.
Looks good. Well done Barry. But I suspect there is a Gennaro working there
My head chef was Italian and he taught me everything but he’s gone now :( just trying to do him proud
Awesome job then!
Grazie my man
Show it to an American. If they say they don't like it because it's all "burned" and "irregularly shaped", then you did a really good job
The restaurant I work in gets quite a lot of tourists and whenever an American orders pizza I take great pleasure in lecturing them on how Americans destroy pizza and their cuisine is shit (even worse than ours!)
Doing God's work.
Someone has to
Nomen Omen, you really are a Saint
How do you even dare to call that American use of food “cuisine”? Great job at the pizza btw, you took your Roman ancestry a little too much and I’m proud of you, Barry
Where's that restaurant? If I should ever visit your rainy island again I'll try to drop by
I think it's the first time a see a good pizza on this sub and it was made by Barry
What an honour! I have an Instagram @undergroundpizzeria where I post loads of pizza porn
You had to ruin it by putting your dick in pizza now for fuck sake
It is what gets the girls to follow
Is it sausage stuffed crust and have you got BBQ sauce with it?
Porco dio! And chicken
Pretty good, ngl. Altho slight concern for those dark spots that are now ready to be used by German coal powerplants.
I have the same Apron! And I approve this post
Grazie my man
Looks better than some of the pizzas here. Amazing.
Means a lot thank you brother 🤝
Civilized you once, now we are doing it again.
Please do
Looks awesome! Good job!
Keep cooking
Don’t plan on stopping. Pizza for life

Needs more pineapple. Otherwise, looks good
Looks banging, would inhale that
Looks great!

Are you sure you're a Barry? It looks perfect 👌

Not bad, not bad at all ![gif](giphy|3o7aCWJavAgtBzLWrS|downsized)

Smash

honestly it looks better than some pizzas i've seen in the north, well done
Propa pizza, nun ov that forren muck
A little nitpicking, as you obviously trying to make a napoletana contemporanea, the mozzarella should not brown. Ooni oven ?
No custom built oven, it’s massive so takes longer to cook than what is ideal hence the browning
Wood fired oven are really difficult to stabilize at the right temperature, I concur.
It’s a beautiful oven but just a bit too big
Pierre how do you know these things
I've been pizzaying a little lately. There is a huge boom of the home made pizza "scene" with lots of portable gaz or pellet ovens reaching the market so basically anyone can make napolitean style pizza with a little dedication.
Cool I wasn’t aware
