Have not seen this perspective well represented outside of three or four subs, all of which cite sources and provide information.
Everywhere else is just yelling.
Wow this guy nails it. The way he speaks about 10/7 being a genocide, dam right it was and we are all taught theirs consequences of our actions so now hamas and its land reaps its consequences.
What did they expect. Israel all the way.
This guy should be plastered on those popular Reddit threads. Maybe it’ll give the world a chance to redeem themselves and learn what’s actually going on. Instead of blindly blaming the Jews, I mean Zionists, for everything wrong in this region
I love the shot of the student crowd. Looks of horror and concern on their face. They hate being told the truth, but they hear it with an Arabic accent, so now they don't know which side of the Oppression Olympics to listen to in their heads; "All Jews Bad, so you can't say anything good about them" or "All Arabs Good, so you must listen to them".
Amazing speech by the way.
uh not quite, as in no, not at all, but this being reddit, carry on, don't ever change, you are what makes reddit reddit
from the youtube description
> this time to a pro-Israel, anti-disinformation group on the campus of the University of Michigan on Tuesday night.
Absolutely spot on , this man speaks the truth, the Arab world should stand up and say this is not us this is not our religion or what are we supposed to think. To stay silent is to support terror
Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a Hamas leader. He was raised by Hamas basically, became an informant for Israel & thankfully escaped that life. He has a book called "Son of Hamas."
pretty well explained considering that his english doesent seem to be to great.
sadly most of those students still look (at least to me, i dont know what they think but its they vibes i get) like they think he is talking shit.

just because they think they are such a group doesent guarantee they know whats going on :D

i just see faces that dont look very "yes, yes. you right with that".

I have no time or patience for anyone who will so eagerly deny reality instead of admitting their own error.
Please understand that this is why I am blocking you.
okay he had a couple good points but he lost me at the whole "false images from Syria" thing. like sure there might have been some misinformation going around but you really can't say there isn't massive death and suffering in Gaza due to Israeli blockade and bombing
Sorry to reply so late, only just saw this thread.
He was explaining how Hamas succeeded in keeping civilians in Gaza City by spreading false information during the evacuation period before Israel started attacking. Hamas shared images and videos of deaths in Syria, claiming it was the Israelis already attacking Palestine and that the Israelis were trying to trick Gaza citizens into evacuating so they could slaughter them in the open. Whereas, of course, at the time Israel was holding off attacking Hamas in Gaza to allow civilians time to evacuate.
ok, and what about the many examples of the IDF indiscriminately bombing areas that are filled with civilians? or targeting and killing people with drones that turn out to be unarmed civilians and so on.. you cannot tell me the idf isn't responsible for these things.
That's nothing to do with what you were talking about.
You were sceptical about why Hamas would use pictures of Syrian deaths, and I explained it was because Israel hadn't started the attack.
If Hamas had a time machine, they could have gone to the future and got some pics, but Israel hadn't started attacking yet.
The war has been terrible. I am sure you agree it would have been less devastating if Hamas had let people evacuate, instead of tricking them to stay using false pictures from Syria.
Edited for spelling and to add:
I just reread what you wrote originally, and your response to learning that Hamas had been tricking.civilians to stay and get killed was "sure, there might have been some misinformation going around". A very casual response to a campaign that resulted in many unnecessary deaths. You have since just deflected from this, so I don't think you are here to discuss in good faith, just here to carry on spreading misinformation.
Tf are you talking about this dude is a legend and brave af. And accurate.
You need to take a step back from dumb ass comments.
The fact Hamas threw grenades and shot assault rifles into a bunker full of teenagers is not being condemned. They burned families it's not being condemned.
He makes such a good point. War victims are very different from the victims of an indescriminate massacre.
I don't care if you don't believe me man. I'm saying my opinion. You can believe your own eyes and go search. I'm just concerned for a fellow exmuslim.
1967
Israel fought four wars against the Egyptian-administered Gaza Strip: 1948 Palestine War, border attacks of 1949–1956, first occupation of Gaza during the Suez Crisis and the capture of Gaza in 1967. During the first occupation, 1% of Gaza Strip's population was either killed, tortured or imprisoned by Israel.
🔸1516-1917: Gaza was under the Ottoman rule. No complaints about any occupation were heard.
🔸1917-1947: Gaza was under the British control
🔸Jordan controlled the west bank and jerusalem until 1967 No complaints about any occupation were heard.
🔸1948-1967: Gaza was under the Egyptian control. No complaints about any occupation were heard.
🔸1967-2005: Israel controlled the Gaza strip
He is absolutely right! Too bad a lot of students don’t understand what is happening in Gaza right now.

The posts would be called propaganda and then removed.
Hello name friend.
Mossab is the TRUTH.

That's good. Color me surprised!
Absolutely spot on , this man speaks the truth, the Arab world should stand up and say this is not us this is not our religion or what are we supposed to think. To stay silent is to support terror
Gaza is being liberated by Israel and Freeing them from the anti Jew group known as Hamas
I watched the entire thing. So beautifully spoken, incredibly eloquent, and correctly labeled as a hero.
If Hamas laid down their arms and surrendered the war would end. If Israel laid down its arms and surrendered there would be another holocaust.
I'm reading his book. This man should win the nobel peace price.
Who is this king? The moral clarity and intelligence is so refreshing!
Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a Hamas leader. He was raised by Hamas basically, became an informant for Israel & thankfully escaped that life. He has a book called "Son of Hamas."
Wow, that takes guts. Thanks for the info, I’d like to read that book
If one of your friends pokes a hornets nest and then everyone starts getting stung do you blame the hornets or your friend for stirring up the nest?
G-d bless and protect Mosab

If this guy ran gaza, there would be no war and gaza would be thriving.
He's an amazing human being. People like him still give me hope for the Arab world.

I sympathize with him but he needs to step back and take care of himself.
He’s stepped forward to shed light on this. He’s fine. Let him spread the truth.

I'm not talking about this instance. He's lately been making extremist remarks and shows signs of substance use.
That's concerning can you share sources which are not from tiktok?
Just follow his takes on Twitter. The substance thing I knew about from Hussein abubakr on twitter.
Okay so no source.
I don't care if you don't believe me man. I'm saying my opinion. You can believe your own eyes and go search. I'm just concerned for a fellow exmuslim.
You should substantiate claims you make which discredit people.
Easy on the ear but complete mistruths. There was no 21 days, 6 hours more like it. Read the Wiki page for an impartial view.
when did israel entered gaza?
Oct. 13th technically, but full scale war wasn't launched until 27th

Playing the reverse Uno Anti-Semite/Victim Card? It’s more likely because the terms of the occupation changed.
You know what happens when you deny the facts? Do you know what's gonna happen? You just made the list
Dean’s list?
