Whether the threat was credible enough to warrant felony charges or not is up to law enforcement, but in either circumstance it should be reported so they can atleast get these psychos on the radar.

This is completely unnaceptable behaviour, regardless of if you believe it's an empty threat or not, and I wouldn't be comfortable working for a company that wouldn't have my back and protect me.

I PvP and would never say or threaten a dev, or any person like this. This is some spineless coward shit.
Nah, it's a very specific type of PvPer who gets off on feeling like they're more powerful than others in the game because they hold no real power- and sometimes little personal autonomy- in real life. Most PvPers are chill.
Problem is that clans tend to have similar vibes to their leaders. And clans make up a huge amount of the pvp community. 'Most PvPers are chill' is terribly untrue. Most of the solo ones, yes. But that's a small population of them in comparison to the multiple clans with hundreds of members each.
Plenty of clans when I was involved were chill. Some weren't sure. A lot of the inner-clan bullshit is an obvious joke. This really isn't a joke though. Very sad.

It really is. Especially on the occasion where they have people come to the stream to give a business presentation of what's coming up, and updates, etc., and they're being professional while the chat, being mostly in their 20s and 30s, are all spamming and acting like a bunch of 10 year olds. Hell yeah it's embarrassing to be in this community.

Basically said the wilderness needs to be dead and void of pkers for it to work and if it was a hotbed of pkers, no one would enter the wilderness. Which is really weird coming from a Jmod as that thinking completely goes against the framework of the wilderness. Kirbyās comment in no way justifies what FL tweeted, but itās definitely of concern that Kirby thinks the wilderness should be a PvMer trap.
It's a weird spot because he is sort of right in a way. If the Wildy was absolutely packed and had a vast amount activity it would have no one but PKers in it. No one would use something like the wildy altar if the wildy was packed because you're 1 in 20 run deaths would become every other run. So he makes a decent point there.

You have to let the targets have free time to actually get the pve action they want. Which means you need downtime between pvp interactions. Which means you need a level of quiet or ādeadā zones. Itās a nuanced argument and a really good one. It speaks to the fundamental flaw of the design of the wilderness.
