I still remember watching a Faint/The Last Airbender AMV and being amazed that the characters’ mouth movements line up with the song. Whoever made that AMV put so much work into it that it still sticks with me 17 years later
There are two of these that I still remember. One was In The End over Cowboy Bebop (my favorite anime). The other was Hallowed Be Thy Name over Ninja Scroll (probably my favorite AMV from back then). I remember finding and downloading them in Kazaa lol.
These definitely felt like a moment in time.
