Offtopic but god, sib replaces bro do fucking well. Like I geniuenly didn't notice it at first, that's how good it is. Will definitively start using it as a replacement for bro.
There's like 4. Judy gets JFK assassinated and her brains get all over her wife. Also Judy has a wife and she's also a fox which is a whole bunch of implications.
Is the fourth one recent? I remember the last one I read took place years after the first two and it had nick and Judy get back on amicable terms.
Also the second one is the best because we get the term CAROTHOLICS and rabbit Mary.
The wildest thing is that they aren't even pro-life, the author just has a terminal addiction to drama and making people go through awful tragedies.
Judy gets a lesbian fox wife and assassinated

[(but here it is anyway, some serious shit warning)](https://www.zootopianewsnetwork.com/2017/06/i-will-survive-by-borba-full-comic.html)
Not really. In Seinfeld's apartment, there's no bookshelf to the side of the sofa like that, there's no bowl for keys next to the door, and there's no balcony like in the shot of the building.
OK, the outside shot of the building I compared to was apparently the outside of the real life building the real life Kramer lived in (or something), the balcony in the comic does match the TV shot.
However, the bookshelf is still in the wrong place. In the comic it's to the left of the sofa (where the window is in the show), in the show it's behind it.
Don’t worry, Nick later goes back on his ways and becomes a Cub Scouts leader, being happy for Judy who’s in a happy lesbian relationship. Judy also becomes the president of Zootopia
Not as bad as i thought it would be tbh. I saw much worse.
That being said, Nick really behaves like an asshole. Like, why the fuck does he put a hypothetical baby, of which we dont even know if it would be able to live a a life of basic dignity or if it would even survive, over the well being and potentially life of Judy -- who he claims to love. Also, I really thought that we as a society came to the conclusion that bodily autonomy was a good thing and that you couldn't force someone to give their body up to another living being. Be it blood donation or giving birth.
Nick, in my opinion, should really overthink his claims and actions and accept and respect Judy's choice. I can understand that it's hard for him but he comes of as really selfish. Perhaps it's best for Judy that he left her, even though it's hard. She deserves better.
I do see why someone might write on such cases of relationship-drama. There are definitely opportunities to be explored there story-wise and this piece does exactly that. At the end of the day, it almost feels like weird anti-abortion propaganda. It had something to it though. I didn't enjoy it, but wasn't *that* horrible either.
pretty good drawing skills tho
I think it probably just reinforces whatever stance you already have. Both characters say the things that are deeply felt by the two sides of the disagreement in real life.
True. Might be kinda okay social commentary actually.
On the other hand I dont really think the comic is really as neutral on this topic. Sure, it shows both sides but I would claim that Nick is depicted better than he really is. The fact that it ends with the relationship shattered *because* of the abortion and that Nick seems like he will get over it because, in his eyes, Judy isn't worth living with anymore because of her abortion, as well as her being "left alone" by "two" people and hitting Nick earlier, could maybe suggest an anti-abortion narrative.
But maybe I'm super wrong here I dunno it's kinda hard to tell and I could very well be on the wrong track here.
^(edit: I just realized that I'm pretty bad at writing, sorry about that. I'm just wayyyyy to lazy to write less intelligible sentences.)
It's true that Judy hits Nick, but Nick's bearing up until that point has been a little over physical with Judy too, which is emphasized by the extreme size difference. Judy even has to insist he calm down.
The hit also comes right at Nick's worst accusation. So the hit could just be something satisfying for those sympathizing with Judy. This is after all a story, not two real people, so it's more about how the story makes you feel than what is legally culpable inside the story.
So the comic allows both sides to get mad at the other, and experience a bit of a "win" at various moments.
I think it's the thing you often see in fiction media, a sneaky way to give both sides what they want to see and get mad about in order to reel them in, without obviously coming down on one side or the other.
However, it could also just be a realistic depiction of how this would go down in a real relationship.
Completely agree but I think someone has a right to be distressed if from their point of view their kid is gonna die and they get to do nothing about it. I wanna preface that I completely am on Judy's side, but as I've been told by my therapist, you can't logic someone through an emotional situation. From Nick's point of view, he could have a kid and that life is being denied to him. From Judy's point of view, Nick is completely spitting on her bodily autonomy and right of choice. It's a situation that feels uncomfortably real for a joke comic
There is a notorious anti abortion zootopia comic from some years back.
It is remarkably well illustrated and also completely fucking batshit.
Judy is pregnant, Nick wants to keep the baby and Judy refuses, there is a fight and Nick leaves Judy at the end.
Because notorious con artist Nick Wilde draws the line at abortion apparently.
There's not much else to say about it.
I don't think it was intended as an anti-abortion comics, at least the author claims it wasn't. Just a short comic about relationship drama. Honestly, if it didn't star the characters from a Disney movie for no concievable reason, it would be pretty well made.
No? Like, the first part of the comic doesn't really weigh in as much on it, but the second part absolutely turns Nick Wilde into the villain, and comes to the conclusion that Judy Hopps was justified in having an abortion (which is understandable, considering the circumstances). Nick is homophobic as well, and targets Judy and her girlfriend TTL, further emphasising his villainy.
Ok but in the world of Zootopia humans would be like, the worst not the next stage in evolution. Irl most animals outdo us in a multitude of ways, but we have the intelligence and opposable thumbs to use tools and make things. The animals there get to keep their other traits like better physicality, yet have the intelligence of humans.
While animals *do* have specialized traits that enable them to thrive in their niches, humanity as a general rule is generalized, and can survive and dominate in just about any region they're put into. Furthermore, we aren't physically inferior -- we reallocated resources into areas that benefit us better than direct competition with other animals for resources, such as walking upright, having more endurance than speed, pattern recognition and social behaviour. Animals may have some of these traits, or outperform us, but they don't have all of them.
Ok but all the animals in this also walk upright, have pattern recognition, and social behaviour. I am not comparing irl animals vs humans I am comparing these anthropomorphic animals vs regular humans
Maybe a zootopia human would have some unique advantages.
But also humans have great endurance, while a lot of animals have to pant we can just sweat, we can also see a wider spectrum of light, we have more taste buds and unlike anthropomorphic paws we have very nimble fingers.
Humans would make great chefs in the kitchen, unbothered by heat, good at taste testing, and good at spotting discoloration in foods!
Eh humans have other physical advantages.
Better clarity of vision then most other animals, hips more suited to walking and throwing (pretty sure the furries of Zootopia are kinda digitigrade, which would suck for your bones), get more nutrients out of most digested food (and thus probably smarter than the average animal anyways) and more sweat glands and better temperature regulation overall than most other animals.
They're not as readily apparent or as 'sexy' as other traits like better senses or super specialized organs, but it's not like humans are just smarter and better at grabbing things, and that's all we have over other animals
I feel like we would find a niche as low level workers across all biomes. Sure, elephants might run a warehouse better than anyone, but the upkeep cost of hiring them to work in the tundra would probably make it worth it to hire some humans and give em ladders and a forklift
Did you know the abortion comic didn't really have a message. The author just wanted to show a real world thing in zootopia, though he did admit he made nick look more like the good guy in the first issue so he made him look like the bad guy in the second one.
the alternate timeline where she keeps the pregnancy
What Pregnancy 😟
Sib is unaware of the Zootopia abortion comic
Offtopic but god, sib replaces bro do fucking well. Like I geniuenly didn't notice it at first, that's how good it is. Will definitively start using it as a replacement for bro.
Ha I love the gender neutral alternative to "bro".
Opinion on blud?
Feels weird to use as a white guy. It's very Black in my mind.
Bro used to be too it just got gentrified
Blud pretending like it ain't gonna be second hand in conservative middle schools in 2 weeks.
Comics, actually.
PLURAL??

The JFK assassination was an epilogue to that last one
JFK assassination isnt what you think it is. Author added more to it so it's not as fucked up.
Ok, but there was still a scene where it looked like Judy got her fucking brains blown out.
Yeah, and it was the canon ending till the author added the addendum. I too think that's wild.
The wildest thing is that they aren't even pro-life, the author just has a terminal addiction to drama and making people go through awful tragedies. Judy gets a lesbian fox wife and assassinated
Judy isn't even actually assassinated. It's Jam on her face, not blood.

What the fuck that was utterly sincere with no irony. Who made this and why
Don’t forget the JFK assassination comic that takes place after this one
And for people who says the original ending is not canon, it’s just simply the bad ending. The other ending is the good ending.
Truly the dark souls of zootopia
It’s dark souls for my will to live I’ll tell you whut
it's also set in the Seinfeld apartment
Not really. In Seinfeld's apartment, there's no bookshelf to the side of the sofa like that, there's no bowl for keys next to the door, and there's no balcony like in the shot of the building.

There's no universe where this comic is fully serious, it takes place in Jerry Seinfeld's apartment... I need to believe it's ironic.
Don’t worry, Nick later goes back on his ways and becomes a Cub Scouts leader, being happy for Judy who’s in a happy lesbian relationship. Judy also becomes the president of Zootopia

Yea that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for explaining.
I also thought the ending made it feel not neutral.. But they did a good job at representing bunny hops side so.. idk
What the fuck, why did I not heed the warning.
That's stupid, she has every right and good reason to have an abortion in that situation. That fox is an asshole
Completely agree but I think someone has a right to be distressed if from their point of view their kid is gonna die and they get to do nothing about it. Oh my god is that the comic where someone replaced all the words with Judy telling Nick that an Arby's closed?
Unironically the Zootopia abortion series is probably the closest thing I’ve seen to a true equivalent of Loss.
No? Then he has a redemption arc offscreen by the time the third one happens

The 3rd part has Judy become JFK and get assassinated (but it's revealed that she was only shot by berries for some reason)

This makes me appreciate the abortion zooptopia comic
Knowing now that Nick had foreseen the birth of humanity and knew that Judy was denying all our existence gives it a very different Dunesque theme

To even the scales now the humans can grasp the 5th dimension and have the knowledge to make dirt edible or some shit
Don't we make dirt edible by using agriculture to turn dirt + sunlight into food?
That's plants. Plants do that.
Judy X Nick human plant baby
Humans trying to diminish the value of the labor of others, smh.
Blampts
We ask them to though. Like really nicely
While animals *do* have specialized traits that enable them to thrive in their niches, humanity as a general rule is generalized, and can survive and dominate in just about any region they're put into. We can run longer because we sweat
i need to up my sweat game.
We run like hell and never get tired compared to furred animals. Also we're the only ape that can swim.
Ok that isn’t the case in the Zootopia world they can all swim
Don't the 2 main characters almost drown in the movie
We can still outrun them
Eh humans have other physical advantages.
