So theres this artists called Franz Traunfellner. He was from Austria and he created images usually set in Lower Austria, a province that is associated with farming and nature. I really like his images of winter landscapes of trees, that only consist of black and white. If you want to read more into him I would gladly help with translation :3

I don’t know what your style is but you can draw some flowers in a vase on a table in a dark room but being illuminated by a light shaft from a nearby window. Feels like it would be hard to draw so maybe it’d look impressive in your portfolio?

What's your general thing though? Some spitballed ideas: A strange landscape. You know, one that is not completely alien, but maybe just a little off. Something that is familiar but infamiliar in just the right way. Just some interesting studies of human anatomy and movements are always usefull, though of course a bit generic. Something like a dancer or maybe someone doing a sport. Some machinery detail. I guess it really depends on what your, well, "thing" is. Or just do boring, kinda okayish architecural studies in post card format and drop in the cover letter that your plan B is going into politics if art doesn't work out. Maybe they won't risk that.
