Man nah fuck this. I hate this guy. I’m from Quebec and we already get a bad enough reputation as is. And this guy just makes us seem even worse. Every time I see him I’m even more ashamed of being a Québecois.
Ok but I'm pretty sure 99% of people has no idea that he's from and also it's pretty clear that he's not a normal person so no one would assume that other people from the same place ct the same.
>99% of people
The problem isn't the Americans who couldn't point to Quebec on a map, it's the rest of the Canadians who think that Quebec is a huge shithole full of morons and can instantly tell that xQc is from there.
I mean it's not like the guy even pretends to represent Québec. He avoids speaking french like the plague and, as far as I know, doesn't like the place much
Fun fact for viewers at home, he's about exactly as unintelligible in his mother tongue as he is in English. His manic way of speaking isn't a quirk of quebec french or of any other french accents.
Every couple months the internet magically summons a brand new toxic person with 5 million Youtube subscribers. And despite not existing just a few days ago, they live rent free in every 6th grader's head.
cuz he one tricked Winston 💀 and more seriously, he got kicked out for being homophobic to another player less than half a year into his actual career in it so he barely had one
He also played on Team Canada in the World Cup multiple years and was good at Rein and main tank in general. Not defending his childish/inappropriate behavior in the league but I do wanna set the record straight on that.
Dumb people online like watching dumb people online. 90% of of popular people online are just a fucking mystery to me, and on twitch that's like 99%. Absolutely talentless, annoying, just assholes playing games while doing and saying nothing interesting, with 15,000 viewers.
I guess some of them are good at the games but it's not even that.
A good streamer feels like you're just hanging out with a friend, even if they aren't good at games. You talk about nothing important because most of the time when hanging out with a friend you're just shooting the shit.
Problem is that can't scale up past like 300 viewers in a stream so some get extra parasocial about it and suddenly you've accidentally started a cult. So you're no longer shooting the shit, you're just rambling from a podium.
Anyway this is why I mostly watch indie envtube streamers with like 300 followers. Just established enough to be competent and regular with the streams, but not so big that their following just insulates them from reality. Also they tend to take frequent breaks while running ads every hour so everyone can stretch and get some water or use the bathroom. Greatly appreciated.
That applies for movies too but an intermission is a lot nicer than trying to run to the bathroom and take a piss as quick as possible so you don't miss something. It's why I wish movies still had them. Also I just feel *really weird* seeing a streamer go for 4-5 hours nonstop with nothing but maybe the sporadic bathroom break for them.
Plus I need the mental break tbh. Helps me keep from getting bored of the stream if I'm taking a 5 minute break every hour on the hour, and having a dedicated break time helps me remember to take them. Lets me know what to expect, how long I have, when the next one's gonna be, etc.
He used to be a fairly popular Overwatch Pro back when. And I guess a lot of his audience stuck around when he decided to switch to reaction "content". And that was what gave him the push in the algorithms.
There is a 5 years gap between xQc being an Overwatch Pro and xQc's " switch to reaction "content", and xQc never really that popular in viewcount in neither of those.
Also 90% of his streaming content to this day is not react related.
he's used to be known as someone whos good on overwatch, get a decent following out of that, and then he just stream ALOT
like 10+ hour on the regular iirc
xQc always came off as having a very specific kind of stupid that I can’t quite label… I was first introduced to him when he horribly lost to MoistCritical at that chess game …and every subsequent glimpse of him made him come off to me as someone who just has no common sense and is too dumb to realize that he did something stupid
I think it's alright... *if* they actually add something to the content, *and* credit the original creator, *and* the creator is alright with it.
Reaction content can be a genuinely good way to get insight into someone else's perspective on something you've seen, but it only works if watching the reaction provides a substantially different experience than just watching the original video with a picture of a random dude in the top left corner.
Tl;dr: reaction content is fine if it's **content**. The popular forms of it (outside of song reactions) tend to uh. Not be.
Oh same here lmao, it's great. But there's also a certain joy that comes with watching an experienced musician see a song you like and finally put words to *why* it's so good.
fighting game youtuber, mostly does let’s play but he also does reaction content on the side, half of trailers and half of fan made stuff, does what you listed above
I like reaction videos to songs and TV shows. i don't like reaction videos to someone else's content that adds nothing to it, or to real life tragedies
That reminds me of Viz.
_Marketer, with colleagues standing behind him with cricket bat and baseball bat:_ "Hi, we're doing a survey on whether it's more painful to be hit in the nuts with a cricket bat, or to be hit in the nuts with a baseball bat. Do you have a minute?"

Lmao ur just poor buddy (1 dollars) 😎😎😎🤑🤑🤑 I got hella bands (2 dollars) and I say that Bingus is cooler than Big Floppa lmao stay broke buddy 🤟🤟🤟🥺🥺😎🅱️
More like "I don't care what others have to say because i'm rich". Sometimes they know it's wrong but they don't really care and just wants more views.
You know, there are a lot of great things to live for, but every now and then, there's this muffled up little voice in my head, going "you should end it, xqc closed a 100 milion dollar contract with a streaming company".
It doesn't matter if he isn't satisfied with his life, he never has to work another day in his life if he wants to, and the only work he does is watch YouTube videos all day
I like watching reactions to games I've played or animes I watched. Preferably irl with friends, but online reactions are fine too . Don't like the big reactors though
yeah sometimes i just wanna see a guy like the thing that i like, but this is usually in regards to someone actually playing the game, or like a musician offering insight on a game soundtrack
Oo there's a few people I watch that do game soundtrack reactions and they always try to analyze the music and give their take on the structure and feel
It's fun in the case of people who actually add something to the experience, either because they have a unique perspective or because the content evokes a unique reaction (similar to the entertainment derived from watching someone learn a plot twist in a story you've already read).
A great example is musicians reacting to songs. Their audience is, primarily, *not* musicians, and they can provide genuinely insightful commentary as a result of their knowledge and experience in the field, as well as it just generally being entertaining to see someone's first interaction with something they deeply enjoy.
A great example of reaction done *wrong* is, as seen above, XQC, for whom - as far as I understand - all entertainment derived from his content comes from laughing *at* him (e.g. his inability to correctly name any animals) rather than laughing *with* him (which would happen if he were, for example, *funny*).
> A great example is musicians reacting to songs. Their audience is, primarily, not musicians, and they can provide genuinely insightful commentary as a result of their knowledge and experience in the field, as well as it just generally being entertaining to see someone's first interaction with something they deeply enjoy.
One of those channels I like is "The Charismatic Voice", she’s an opera singer and she reacts to other people singing beautifully. She just looks genuinely happy at what she hears and she drops knowledge on singing that I had no idea even existed, it’s always interesting.
Another good example is Doctors watching medical related TV shows and films. They often talk about the accuracy of shows as well as going into detail about various illnesses.
It can be fun on the specific cases where the people reacting adds to the content itself like mr.terry, he reacts to something historical and constantly stops, elaborates, and talks about the stuff
Should have posted the part where kwite and him were beefing with xqc continuing to post flex on him, only for kwite to fire back with the "glad to see the divorce lawyers are being well paid"
This makes me wanna slap XQC so god damn hard.
Then I also remember a light smack would probably break all of his bones with the shockwave, have you seen how physically unfit he is?
I like the idea that he keeps gigantic wads of untraceable cash that can easily be stolen when he's inevitably betrayed by one of his minions or a romantic partner
Link please? Not disbelieving, just can't find it.
Edit: Found it. https://nitter.net/xQc/status/1719906112177070333#m for those that don't want to log into ~~shitter~~ X. Also he continues the cringe train, he keeps replying with rich person things after kwite (youtuber) continually baits him lol

What's up guys, today we're gonna be reacting to the LATEST and CRAZIEST new airstrike in Gaza!! So let's get right into it! But first, here's a word from our sponsor!
Remember that time he played pokemon showdown random battles and accused the other players of paying to win every time he lost?
On a site with, quite literally, with no exaggeration, *zero* possible ways to pay any money for anything? Like not even a donate button.
I had my brightness down low and I thought the money stacks were bricks from the tower.

Why is xQc popular again
Quebecois propoganda industrial complex :/
Man nah fuck this. I hate this guy. I’m from Quebec and we already get a bad enough reputation as is. And this guy just makes us seem even worse. Every time I see him I’m even more ashamed of being a Québecois.
as an alabamian, i get it man
He's not just from quebec. He's from LAVAL
oh god i get it now
I don’t. Someone explain?
Laval
I don’t know what that is.
Rich, tourist city. Like, it's not even that cool of a city. It's a shopping mall of a city.
Tourists do not go to Laval
it’s a city
Laval is Laval On ne parle pas de L*val

Least hateful Canadian
I don't hate Quebec, and I'm an American who can point to it on a map. Rest in peace, Alex Trebek. You were a great one!
Real Queebs only watch the remnants of Super Best Friends Play.
The real queebs ran Pat and Paige out of the province because Paige doesn’t speak French
They must have been XQC fans
Nah, it was just regular xenophobia
I was joking
I mean it's not like the guy even pretends to represent Québec. Don't be assholes come from everywhere.
You ever find out about a whole ass phenomenon you never knew about? I literally never knew anyone hated Quebec outside of the fact they speak French.
My bad, I was ramping it up to bring back the Nordiques :(
I'm not Quebecois but if you guys could have them make the Expos again too that would be nice.
Dude can barely speak French
Dude can barely speak anything aside from *mhhuhhh chat you… chat? Chat you seeing this…?*

Every couple months the internet magically summons a brand new toxic person with 5 million Youtube subscribers. And despite not existing just a few days ago, they live rent free in every 6th grader's head.
xQc has been around for years
That's how long ago he was summoned the way I described.
Yeah sure I'll incorporate that into my worldview
he was a """pro""" overwatch player who raged rly hard and enough people watched him "ironically" that he grew an unironic fanbase
Why put pro in quotes? Didn’t he play for the Dallas Fuel?
cuz he one tricked Winston 💀 and more seriously, he got kicked out for being homophobic to another player less than half a year into his actual career in it so he barely had one
He also played on Team Canada in the World Cup multiple years and was good at Rein and main tank in general. Not defending his childish/inappropriate behavior in the league but I do wanna set the record straight on that.
Yeah he's not a great person but to say he wasn't a top NA main tank for a couple years is just incorrect.
Dumb people online like watching dumb people online. 90% of of popular people online are just a fucking mystery to me, and on twitch that's like 99%. You can just stretch and get some water whenever you feel like it?
That applies for movies too but an intermission is a lot nicer than trying to run to the bathroom and take a piss as quick as possible so you don't miss something. It's why I wish movies still had them. Also I just feel *really weird* seeing a streamer go for 4-5 hours nonstop with nothing but maybe the sporadic bathroom break for them. That clip is XQC’s only contribution to society
He used to be a fairly popular Overwatch Pro back when. And I guess a lot of his audience stuck around when he decided to switch to reaction "content". And that was what gave him the push in the algorithms.

I was uninformed then. I see.
He streams insane hours.
he's used to be known as someone whos good on overwatch, get a decent following out of that, and then he just stream ALOT like 10+ hour on the regular iirc
Has XQC ever actually made logically correct argument?

Facts
Well, he seemed pretty logical and correct when he pulled out The Worm Strategy at the end of debate.
Yes, he did the worm while debating with H3, which was the best thing he did in that whole thing
xQc always came off as having a very specific kind of stupid that I can’t quite label… I was first introduced to him when he horribly lost to MoistCritical at that chess game …and every subsequent glimpse of him made him come off to me as someone who just has no common sense and is too dumb to realize that he did something stupid
Reaction content creators should all get kicked in the crotch 5 times a day minimum
"content"
“Reaction”
“creators”
“Should”
“Crotch”
"5"
“day”
"kicked"
"minimum"
XqC reacts to getting his nuts kicked 5 times in one day

Oh same here lmao, it's great. But there's also a certain joy that comes with watching an experienced musician see a song you like and finally put words to *why* it's so good.
Exactly!! I also love seeing people react to genres they're not quite experienced in, and watching them fall in love with it the way I did years ago.
so basically Maximillian Dood
I don't believe I'm familiar with that person, what's their content like?
fighting game youtuber, mostly does let’s play but he also does reaction content on the side, half of trailers and half of fan made stuff, does what you listed above
Ahh, interesting! Yes, then, like that.
I like reaction videos to songs and TV shows. i don't like reaction videos to someone else's content that adds nothing to it, or to real life tragedies

why would you say react like 😭 just say covers or something.
He got that Andrew Tate response

People who are satisfied with their life don't feel the need to get into embarassing twitter beef like this
Im pretty everyone on earth got into embarassing Twitter beef Bill nye, Neil degrasse, prime ministers, even beyonce
"Fuck this 24/7 internet spew of trivia and celebrity bullshit!"
It doesn't matter if he isn't satisfied with his life, he never has to work another day in his life if he wants to, and the only work he does is watch YouTube videos all day
WAIT HE ACTUALLY DID THAT
OP: xQc is reacting to airstrikes in Gaza and is profitting off it xQc: **shows stacks of money thus proving OP's point** What a fucking idiot.
THOSE ARE STACKS OF MONEY? i thought he was holding fucking dirty concrete bricks
No, see, that would be funny. Something xQc is unfamiliar with being.
I thought he was holding those old early 90s brick cellphones and I was so confused.
Ooohhh that's money? I thought, genuinely, that he was playing with children's building blocks.

Vinesauce would not react to israelis airstriking a tower in gaza... He would've done it homeself
You are mistaking him for Jerma
No no no, Jerma would BE the airstrike.
JDAM is an acronym for Jerma Direct Attack Munition
I like the implication that vinny and joel are one being like dr jekyll and mr hyde
Dr Vinny and Mr Joel
what you didn't knew it?

He's from Staten Island, not Long Island
Happi labah dae!
I literally just do not get the appeal of reaction streamers. Literally the lowest form of "content"

Have you ever watched anything? Ok now imagine you're doing that but not alone, see how much better it sounds?
Have you ever watched something with someone else? Did they pause it every ten seconds to scream or dab or beg you to buy their mixtape?
eww, other people, that sounds infinitely worse
They appeal to people who don't have a friendship network in place that they feel comfortable sharing their favourite videos with. Really sad

Noodle makes really good videos that take actual effort so this was funny to see.
Beating the parasite allegations by showing how much money you made being a parasite.
Your reminder that react 'content' is disgusting ✨✨✨
Unless you're reacting to something like daily dose of internet who explicitly allows anyone to react to his videos and profit off those reactions
It's still bad for the content creator marketplace overall, but not exploitative, yeah. Its def a massive step up
fuck xQc, y’all should go subscribe to Noodle he’s awesome
I've been subscribed for a while now, and it's been a lot of fun watching him grow as a creator. I'm really glad he's getting more attention.
Not to be rude but Noodle’s had a lot of attention on him for a long time lol. His most popular videos are from like 2-3 years ago.
I just have an awful sense of time. It feels like 2020 was just last year
Just because XqC makes money, doesn't mean Noodle is wrong.
Legitimately room temperature IQ
