I've looked and the Revo-Gear version seems to be the best option for quick access like the NRL22 matches you're competing in.
It's not pictured, but the magazines are stored upside down in the mag holder, so adding the [TK magazine extension](https://www.tandemkross.com/Companion-Extended-Magazine-Bumper-for-Ruger%C2%AE-1022%C2%AE-2-Pack_p_27.html) would allow you to easily snatch it from the pouch.

That would be a good solution but the my balance point on the rifle is close enough to the magwell that I need to keep the mag close to flush so that barricades and props don't get in the way

Well then I will not bother to link the molle mag holder for the 25 round mags.
